Request to authenticate please. Thank you so much!!
Item; 179-9016, made in NYC. City Bag?
Comments; another thrift find. This was in really bad shape and following some tips in rehab, I dunked it and am polishing it. It just needed some love! dimensions:11" width, 7" height, almost 3" depth, 17" drop.

It's an authentic convertible clutch.

Although I would have called it "coral" or "salmon," I'm not surprised that Coach called it "rose."

They also call(ed) this rose, which IMO, would be more accurately described as "rust," though they don't use that name.

They used the color rust for the 2007 Bleecker line.

IMO the rose Legacy color is more pink than orange. I think it is very pretty.

It's not a City Bag, it's a genuine 9635 Convertible Clutch from around 1987

I must add to everyone you shares their knowledge here, I have learned ALOT from you all and appreciate it. The information on fakes and on sellers who sell fakes is invaluable! I purchased one fake before being aware of this forum and was able to get my money back. I thick I'll avoid on-line purchase and stick to thrift shops where I seem to have found beauties! THANK YOU!!!!
