Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I've been screwed by a different GW and just don't want to take any chances without the expert authentications y'all so generously offer. This bag worries me by the leather the creed is stamped into. It just looks cheap to me. I'm not at familiar with this color, and maybe that's what's throwing me off or maybe it's just the wonderful high quality photos GW's post! Lol

Sidenote: any opinions on Authenticity First? (at least I think that's the name of the service some of their locations are using now) I already know not to trust Entrupy. Thanks so much!

I don’t have or need an opinion about Authenticity First. Got my Authenticity Four right here!
All you need to do is a search of the fakes on HOS by GW, and yes, even though they may not be the NJ/Philly Region, to be underwhelmed by GW’s at large authenticity guidelines.

I've been playing hell trying to make them believe it's fake, but they need it back to have it "re-authenticated"! Yeah, right, I copied posts from here regarding the serial number on the bag, but they claim they can't open the files? I should have had it authenticated here, damned impulse purchases! I know better now.

I was having trouble with one goodwill not shipping my order well after the 5 (or 7 days) this location claimed to send orders out in. And then they just stopped responding to my messages :mad:, so I contacted [email protected]. I wasn't really sure if it would do any good, but it was either that or rage-drive to Detroit and rampage (or contact my credit card, but where's the fun in that?). Oh boy, did they got ahold of the warehouse manager REAL quick!

Ive only done this once, so your mileage may vary, but its worth a shot, and at the very least they are made aware of the lack of customer service at some locations.

If you click on the shopgoodwill.com icon (the rainbow-ish one) of any page in the upper left corner, it will take you to the front page, and at the bottom right of that page is a contact support option. Good Luck!

I hear you! I had to ban my from looking and bidding late at night, from a 7 inch tablet.

Good morning! I had one Coach bag for almost 20 years then inherited a few from my aunt. Now I am addicted to hunting thrift stores for them! No luck where I live but on holiday and found about 18!!!!! the last ten days or so. I'll start by requesting two authentications please. Oooops! I forgot the dimensions! Pardon the omission. First bag, mini belt....about 5" wide, 5" length, 1.5" depth, drop 26" (approx.)
Taft (?) 12" wide, 10" length, 4" depth drop from about 19" to 22". Thank you!!!
