Comments: Please authenticate this Bridget 65th Anniversary Legacy Bag 11622. I've purchased it but have not yet paid. It looks good to me but I always appreciate expert opinions, thank you.

Do you know the name of this color? I am thinking it was called "Rose" but I am not sure. It's a small, flashy bag that I won't use often, but I love my black Bridget so how could I resist this one for only $21.50?! Obviously I couldn't resist - thanks again!

There used to be a photo floating around Coach Purseforum (posted by a moderator, I think?) of her massive Bridget 11622 collection in every color of the rainbow and arranged on a staircase, I believe.

So there was no consensus about it... intersting - I thought it looked awfully good to be counterfeit, but how often Coach made creed mistakes? Thank you for directing me to that discussion, @BeenBurned!

Incorrect serial numbers are very rare but they do happen. That's why other proof is recommended before reporting them as fake based ONLY on an incorrect number.

It's fake. The serial prefix is J6D- but it's using the wrong font for any "Coach" made in the D plant any time in 1996. The strap grommets look silvery, and it's also really hard to be sure but it looks like there are indentations on the back of the turnlock. Even in photos the leather doesn't look right either, that was the first thing that caught my eye.
