You're welcome!

Everything can be faked. Lots of vintage were but probably not many of these because I think they are harder to duplicate. They all were made in Italy. The brass is brushed so it shouldn't be extremely shiny. They all have the same lining. They are much harder to rehab so you should probably look for one that is in good condition.

Hi whateve. Could you please assist to check my post #3762 3764 3765? I do not know what was wrong with my post. Format seems correct to me. If there is an error, kindly advise so I can repost correctly :)

Please update with the seller's response. (this should be good!)

There's nothing wrong with your post. I don't get involved with newer styles so please be patient and wait for someone who does. And there's no need to post 4 times when one combined post will do just as well.

I don't know where you're posting from but you need to realize and make allowances for the fact that in the US it's very early on Sunday morning in many places - we volunteer our time and we're NOT here 24 hours a day. We have other committments that come first.

Thank you so much. Another novice question, how does the strap attach to the bag and if I am reading the creed correctly, was it made in 1998? You're a gem!

If it's like the one on some of the older Madisons shown in the picture below I think the strap should have snaps on each end, and one end is threaded through the long "tunnel" on the underside of the flap and snapped together. But I haven't seen that style in real life so I'm just guessing.

Thanks! I wonder if this is the same style the one Whateve posted a couple weeks ago with a $60 BIN? That I was too slow for.

Was that the one I got? That was a Biltmore, the next size up. And I didn't pay the sticker price. :graucho:
But I loooove the color on the Gracie you got! That is a fantastic neutral color. It reminds me of what they're calling mink these days.
