  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

Thank you! That seems like a lot of trouble to change the creed. There were some FP styles a year or so ago that showed up at the outlet with F in the creed. We couldn't figure out if they actually switched out the creeds.

I want to say it was a Hamptons fabric or nylon line. I can see the display in my mind but can't remember the particulars. Scribble comes to mind.

Everything can be faked. Lots of vintage were but probably not many of these because I think they are harder to duplicate. They all were made in Italy. The brass is brushed so it shouldn't be extremely shiny. They all have the same lining. They are much harder to rehab so you should probably look for one that is in good condition.

Please assist to authenticate. Bought this from my friend. According to her the bag is authentic. Originally bought from coach outlet store in Hong Kong. But then, after I bought the bag, I doubted because the saffiano leather seems less structured compared to saffiano leather used in Michael Kors and Kate Spade bags. Appreciate your responses & if possible please specify what went wrong with the bag. I would want to explain with my friend so I can ask for a refund if proven fake. Hope we still remain friends after. :graucho: But I hope it is authentic.

Hello, could someone authenticate this? It's claimed to be an authentic, vintage stewardess, but there were some inconsistencies. The leather is buttery soft and has the feel of some of my other vintage coach bags, but the strap is longer than other stewardesses I've seen, it is not quite 4.5" wide as the stewardesses are supposed to be, it doesn't have feet, and the style number 5130 is for a station bag!

It measures 10.5" tall x 10" wide.

Sorry, it's fake. There are many things wrong with the creed. That, plus the wrong style number and details that don't match any one style. Can you get your money back? Did you buy it from an online site?
