Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number.   • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

I commented on Mariepose just a few days ago when someone asked about another listing she had.

Here's my post in which I posted that she had listed and/or sold 3 fakes.

Thank you for your advice I appreciate it very much... Well, about posh mark so far they've been so good with me and my complaints. And bought like 4 items there that were authenticated here. But thank you very much from now on I should avoid that seller and maybe stop shopping in that said site too. You're amazing thank you again☺

Do you think etsy and mercari can be trusted?

Leaving aside the problem of the untrustworthy seller, the damage would always be obvious even if it was repaired, and at the price she's asking it just isn't worth it. That's the kind of damage that should be left to a professional, and even then any repair would probably be noticeable. There are too many nice older bags available for less money with NO damage.

When a bag has structural problems like that, the best thing to do is look for something else. Just my opinion, maybe a few brave souls in our Rehab group might have the stomach for attempting a repair like that but it just doesn't make sense to me.

I can't comment about Mercari, but Etsy also has a very poor record when it comes to removing fakes, and there's at least one chronic fakes seller who's been selling there for years and has never to the best of my knowledge ever had any of her fakes removed even after they've been reported.

To expand on Hyacinth's comment, I'll edit her comment to say, "there's at least one chronic fakes seller who's been selling there for years and has never to the best of my knowledge ever had any of her fakes removed FROM ETSY even after they've been reported."
And that seller used to be on ebay and on Bonanza but after dozens of fakes being removed from both sites, she is no longer allowed to sell Coach on Bonanza and ebay. And THAT is why she sells on etsy!

All infos I got is from the creed and the bag didn’t come with a dust bag as well. Somehow i couldn’t find a photo similar to my bag and I doubt it’s fake. Please help me !

Thank you2x very much for that very helpful advice. I think you're right about the it is just too much... I would go with just a small tear on the piping but not that one.. You guys are very helpful.
