Just a suggestion - when one of your bags is identified, write the name and style number on a small Post-It Note and tuck it in an inside pocket. Or make a "master list", like an insurance list, and keep it in one of your storage bins or boxes.
That's a good idea. Usually whenever I buy something online, especially one that didn't have a style name or number attached to it, I have printed off the page and written the name of the style after having it authenticated on Purseforum.

I've recently moved and have misplaced those pages. I installed new shelves for my purses in my first ever walk-in closet and reacquainted myself with them after having them stored in totes for a while. I knew I had had a purse authenticated and identified as a Branson; I just couldn't remember which one it was! The closure on the purse is broken, unfortunately, and I may never be able to get it fixed but it's still an amazing purse. It's next on my list for a rehab.

I don't spot any differences. Does yours have an accessory ring attached on the side of the zippered pocket inside and a contrasting edge of lining along the top inside edge?

The D ring is directly below the zipper pocket and sewn into the same seam. There is an edge of fabric lining that contrasts with the pink fabric lining, but it is almost the same color as the leather of the bag.

This bag is really filthy, especially the interior, but for $7 I figured that I could try to rescue it!

Interesting...the one I found at The Salvation army store has a cream interior...but I love it....is the leather the sparkly finish or just a tan leather.
Dont worry...just read your comments...mine has rose gold hardware and gelato leather with cream lining.

It's just a tan colored leather, no sparkle.

That's just like mine, so possibly there aren't any differences between the pilot and the production model, other than the creed.

Next time include the sellers' names. The first link doesn't work. This is the correct link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VTG-Coach-...m287c421b33:g:wPIAAOSwHWtbyJ-e&frcectupt=true
It's authentic, made in 1995, not the 80s.
2. authentic
3. authentic
4. authentic basic bag or zippered clutch, made in the late 70s or early 80s.
