Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

I picked up four Coach bags while thrift store shopping today and could really use some help authenticating them. Thanks in advance!

First bag:

This length of this bag is 11.25, the height is 7.25 and the depth is 3.5

Second bag:

The length of this bag is 10.25, the height is 9.5 and the depth is 3.5

Third bag:

The length of this bag is 10, the height is 7.25 and the depth is 3.

I will post bag number four in a new post, as I'm only allowed to attach 10 photos per post apparently.

Hi all,
I'm a brand new member to the forum, though I've been reading through various threads here for quite a while. (Thank you--you ladies taught me how to rehab my mom's vintage Coaches!) I just received a bag I won on ebay that just plain looks weird to me. I have a vintage British tan Pocket Purse that was given to me by my mom and was hoping to get another in black, hence the purchase. I was so disappointed when I looked it over. It's bigger and wider than my PP, has thinner leather, the zipper looks less..heavy duty? Not to mention the zipper had a modern zipper pull attached. The creed looked alright until I saw it today.. something just looked wonky. Like it was too clear for something this old, does that make sense? Also this doesn't have the slip pocket on the back. Am I right in believing this is fake? Did Pocket Purses ever have a sewn seam on the bottom corners? I'm asking just in case this is a different model that looks very similar to the PP that I wasn't aware of. I just want to be sure before I ask the seller for a refund. Any help would be appreciated. Welcome! The bag is authentic. I don't know what's up with that zipper pull. Maybe the original chain fell off. You didn't provide measurements but it looks like you have a convertible clutch, which is slightly larger than a pocket purse and different as you have noticed. It is common for creeds of this era to be nice and clear. It was made around 1989.

You're welcome! Most people prefer the convertible clutch because it is bigger. I think my pocket purse may have had softer, thicker leather than my convertible clutch.

Actually I'm not sure orleanh took those pictures herself either. I don't see that background in her other listings.
