Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

If the seller won't provide a picture of the creed, I would not buy the bag.

There are some light colored spots on the front of the flap in some of the pictures, which are not present in the other pictures. I wonder if the bag was painted or shoe-polished.

So after I message her and tell her I won't purchase without a photo of the creed, and thanked her for her time, she then agrees to post a photo of it later when she got home. And as I suspected, there is a D in front of the 9P! I don't know how she didn't see it....It's a Costa Rica bag, which I had a feeling it was! Ugh. I don't need two black bags, and I already bought the Sheridan- which was my first choice.

Genuine, from the late 1980s. It's hard to tell if it's a Large or Small, did they include the measurements? I'm guessing it's the Large based on the turnlock.

To the other user @Hyacinth I have no intention of reselling an item whose origin I don't know so your lecture is really unnecessary.

To be fair , you have no idea how much time and energy these authenticators, including @Hyacinth volunteer here. You indicate you were willing to take a risk on that purchase , so be it. You did want their opinion, so now you are warned, as someone who is not known to them , you will be given the complete opinion, or, lectured, as you put it.
Do you have any idea how many fake items they have seen and tracked as relisted? Do you have any idea how much complete and total foach cr@p is out there being recirculated due to ingnorance, greed, laziness or apathy? These ladies are the only peops standing between us Coach aficionados and them.
I hope you hang around to share in all the knowledge they give.
