Your theory is wrong.

I have no doubt that the jacket is fake as are the patches and most of the Nasa items I've studied online.

As for the seller of your FAKE jacket, I also found 38 other IDs from the same scamming ring.

So you know, there's no such thing as "seconds from a chinese factory." That's a BS explanation given by counterfeiters as to how they "source" their items.

If you're happy with the jacket, that's great.

Without preaching, I recommend you do a bit of research on the counterfeit industry, the working conditions, how the money is used and see if you still feel comfortable.

A good place to start that will require little effort is to watch a youtube video with Dana Thomas who wrote Deluxe: How Luxury Lost its Luster. (On a personal note, I literally got sick after reading parts of her book.)
Dana Thomas: "Deluxe: How Luxury Lost Its Luster" | Talks at Google ...

ETA: And because this is on my mind, I'll post it. While I'm sorry for spending a ton of time trying to help someone who still decided to buy a fake from a scammer (or rather, a group of scammers), the hours it took me to put together my list of related IDs will have been worth it if the seller @AstroLiz bought from as well as the other fraudulent sellers are banned from ebay.

I'm sorry you think you wasted your time. That was not my intention. I took a risk and bought an item on eBay last month. I was ready to live with the consequences of that risk. I later stumbled upon this thread to find out if my suspicions were correct. my suspicions were confirmed.

I want to clarify that my theory was my own and the seller did not tell me they were seconds or anything of the kind. It is my own speculation about whether the item is deliberately copied in a different factory or just items stolen from the factory where these jackets are made. (I do wonder if they can accurately reproduce the item what stops them from just accurately reproducing the creed) There is no way of truly knowing so the point is moot. I'm not claiming one crime is worse or better than another.

To the other user @Hyacinth I have no intention of reselling an item whose origin I don't know so your lecture is really unnecessary.

Thanks for the book and video recommendation. I'll check it out. I've read Overdressed: The high cost of cheap fashion and it seems that the entire industry has problems even when things are technically legal.

Thanks, BeenBurned! It was obvious, but didn't want to say that until someone confirms... A rare occasion when counterfeiters are ballsy enough to put an Italian made tag on such a PoS! Posting to the HoS...
Those Italy price tags are always on fakes. Coach never made a price tag like that. The font and logo are wrong, and they never made a tag that color.

Could you please confirm authenticity of this $350 clutch from Italy... or not:

Unless the seller, Annie @annieschall is honest and ends her own listing, don't expect Poshmark to do anything.

Item: Hamilton 11086 Carryall in British Tan
Bought this used Hamptons 11086 bag on Poshmark. Everything *seems* to look right, except for one thing that has me questioning things...when the bag arrived it had a Coach brochure in it...printed in CHINESE. Now, I know the Hamilton line (or at least some of it) was made in China, but didn't know of the brochure meant this was a fake?

It looks fine to me.

The brochues I've seen are usually multilingual but something that may have been put into a bag from the wrong stack at the end of the production line OR by a previous owner or seller doesn't prove anything
