No problem, as long as you know where to look. And don't worry too much about links, many sites "lose" older links along the way. There's a saying that the internet is forever but that isn't the case at all.

If there's something you want to look into but the link is dead, let us know and we may have an alternate. Almost all of the inks at Ebay for the old Guides pages were removed almost a year ago, so links through Ebay for the Salearea Guides and the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list are gone, but I'm pretty sure we've posted alternates although they may not be as up to date. Many of the links from the original Salearea Guides which are the ones posted on Salearea's Facebook page are also dead if they link to any of the old Ebay Reviews or Guides pages.

It's better to use the revised Salearea Guides starting at Post 14, most of the links in those should be working. Those posts have also been updated since the older ones still at Facebook date back 7 or 8 years and some had to be corrected.

Great, will do [emoji4] Thank you so much for your kindness and assistance [emoji5]

But it was attached the way it would have been done in a factory. Most sellers don't have price tag attaching equipment. I wouldn't go near an item that had a Coach price tag attached in the way that one was. Why would anyone take an authentic item and attach a fake price tag? I understand why they might attach a fake hangtag, but I can't think of any reason for the price tag.
I can't either unless they wanted to sell NWT vs NWOT? Doesn't make sense to put a sketchy price tag on there though as that just adds details towards it being thought a fake. The plastic loops though are available like 100 for $6 on ebay.
I have purchased items from the outlet that were mistagged before. One was a Tabac saddle 23 with a black saddle 37200 tag. Another was a nolita 19 with a tag for a skinny wallet and another was a Sullivan hobo that had the right description, but the style number on the tag didn't match the one on the story patch. Those were all genuine tags though and were purchased by me.

This wasn't just mistagged but the tag had the wrong information that didn't match the style number. (Compare to some of my fake vs. authentic examples I'd posted above. Compare the fonts too.)

I'm not disputing the tag being fake, just trying to make sure I'm absorbing all the information. Not trying to argue or hijack the thread, just increase my knowledge. Thanks for all the help.

Good evening, authenticators. I am curious about this bag:

Vintage Coach navy blue leather duffel bucket bag Purse pre creed Cashin
(pre-style-number I understand, but pre-creed??)

Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Co...h=item3b2ad6bef1:g:37EAAOSwOttcYzpl:rk:4:pf:0

Seller: my-big-wow

So, no creed and a Coach stamp in the leather in front near the zipper? Enlighten me, please. I would have asked for a photo of the creed but the seller is quite specific about the bag not having one. (and no pocket)

(the more I type the fake-r it feels)

I think it is authentic. It appears to be in fantastic condition for its age.

That's interesting. How old would it be? Thank you, by the way, for the super fast response.
So, no pocket, no creed can be authentic? Learn something every day here!!
I've seen similar styles. It isn't the very earliest duffle sac, but it is pretty old. I would say early 70s. Coach says it was created in 1971, but I think some versions could be older. Those have center front and back seams.

"Coach started using the Creed stamp sometime around the mid-1970s, right around the time that iconic designer Bonnie Cashin left the company. Before that there might only be an add-on metal emblem or simple stamp with the Coach logo, or a Cashin label and striped lining."

Hi!Anyone could help me authenticate my bag?Bought it recently from online ig shop.
Item: Coach sutton hobo bag 38580

View attachment 4338821 Measurement:
  • 12 1/2" (L) x 10 1/2" (H) x 3 1/2" (W)

Is this authentic?

Please post a link to the online IG shop.
So it's a seller in Malaysia. As I understand, they take orders prior to procuring the items then they order/buy them to send to you. Is that correct?

Are the pictures you've shown the actual items you received or are those pictures that the seller sent you.

The bag in the pictures looks okay. But if the pictures are not the actual bag, please post pictures when you receive it.

My concern when buying from sites such as you bought from is that a seller can buy an authentic item to show on her IG page but then ship you a fake. And because some of the fakes are very close and don't appear to be obvious fakes, you might be fooled.

Personally, I'd recommend sellers who have the items in their possession and post pictures of the actual bag you're buying.

Yes, the pictures I've shown is the actual bag I received, I took all the pictures as clear as possible. That's what I'm afraid if the bag is fake because my friend said it hasn't been released in any outlets yet.
