Good advice Been
Just don't try to sell it in California! Or maybe the law there doesn't apply to pre-owned items?

What's really ironic is that although some or all python species are considered endangered in their native habitats, they're a huge problem now in Florida and the Burmese Python is an invasive species that's causing major carnage to Florida's native wildlife including alligators. There should be a way for the exotic leather industry to hunt and certify the skins of Florida-caught Burmese pythons as legal to sell even in Cali. I think there may already be a bounty on them in Florida or at least state-funded hunting of them by professionals, but more needs to be done, especially since global warming will make it easier for them to start moving farther north. And like anything involving money there's always the potential for abuse.

Good advice Been Burned ~ best to let it rest & not stir up the conversation.
Yes, jumping to conclusions can be dangerous.
I'm not even certain how I'd go about selling this bag. Not up for the "criticism"
I'd certainly list with proof of authenticity especially if asking for what seller on Poshmark got for it! I almost listed for $60 on PM so I'm glad I did my research!
Interesting points about the python leather. Definitely won't use it if decide to sell due to fragility which I wasn't aware. Yes, Hyacinth ~ the news in Florida is often talking about issues that have occurred due to the Burmese python~ kinda freaks me out when think the purse is this skin (-: Good reasons to sell, hmmm
Thank you for the input & advice ~ cheers!

Hi all. Thank you so much in advance for your help - I haven't been able to find out much about this possible style from the 1990s.

Item: Extra large Coach travel backpack from the 1990s - L79 - 0520
Listing number: 273676788428
Seller: raxeitup66
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-0520...tring-Flap-Vintage-Backpack-Rare/273676788428
Comments: I actually bought and returned this bag because it seemed too good to be true to me - absolutely no wear to the weather and the leather felt so much thinner than on my older vintage Coach backpack. However the markings on the inside of the magnetic clasps did seem to look right. Now I'm wondering if I was wrong and it actually is authentic - and wondering if I should repurchase. Another seller has the same one in brown and says she purchased it personally from the Coach store in the '90s. (That listing is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/113607396359?ul_noapp=true)

Both are authentic. I hope you didn't accuse the first seller of selling a fake, or force her to accept a return.

I was going to say the same thing. Without intending to insult you @poemsbytaz, if I were that seller (who BTW has a no return policy), I wouldn't sell to you again. After a false accusation of fake, I would have taken the bag back (which she did) and put you on my BBL.

If a buyer has a concern about authenticity, she should FIRST verify that her suspicions are correct before accusing the seller of breaking the law.

It's probably okay. There is one thing that is bothering me but the pictures are too small to tell.
Hi Whatever,
We received the bag , what photo did you need to see larger to authenticate the bag? Original post 34467
Also it has a little smell to it, she said she conditioned it with peppermint oil, will that hurt the bag?

Thank you for all your help!
