Please follow the following requests:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Those blasted cases were faked a LOT and can be very tough to authenticate. I wouldn't recommend buying them to resell. Can you include a photo of the entire panel of the red turnlock one showing the Coach stamp and how it's positioned? We'd also like a photo of the back of the turnlock plate, the piece showing the prongs and how they hold it on.

I'm not even going to try doing the tan one. You may be asked for more photos of that one too.

It looks good (based on what I see with a "sold" sign plastered across it). If you have concerns once you get it, post pictures.

I believe the color would be whiskey.

I managed to grab the pictures without the "Sold" sign plastered across the image, see below, but they are still poor quality images. Thanks again.

Just for future reference, I opened the "Sold" listing for this item on Mercari and clicked on the first image to enlarge it. Then I right clicked on the image and selected "Copy Image Address" and pasted the address into my browser. That opened up the photo without the "Sold" banner displayed. I was then able right click and save image to my computer, and repeat the process for the other pics.

I don't think that's authentic but other opinions are welcome.

Some of the cases do have the Coach logo on the outside upper right under the flap but it should be higher up, closer to the zipper.

And the indentations on the back of the female part of the closure are wrong.

It came with a dustbag and wallet, has Coach leather accent on side but the Creed patch and hangtag are off center, the wallet looks authentic? I appreciate your expertise

Both the bag AND the wallet are fake. Tell islandgrl8179 that you want a full refund!

ETA: Had you come here prior to purchasing, we could have told you that the bag was fake and not to buy. (Wallet wasn't shown in the listing but your pictures show enough to confirm that it's fake.)

If you can report and have success in getting poshmark to act on the report, please do so.

Generally, I don't authenticate Poshmark items because they have so many fakes and are so unresponsive to reports. But in cases where PM proves my point , I will comment.

I love the tattersall Bleecker bags and I have lusted for a Woven Pocket Hobo 12378 from 2008 for a long time, but they are always listed for more than I want to spend - and I already have too many bags anyway!

This pocket hobo had been poorly listed on Mercari for a long time and I had "liked" it in the past, but I didn't buy because there weren't enough pictures (not even a picture of the creed) and it was more than I cared to spend at $50 + $8 S&H, especially on a rather "loose" site like Mercari.

I received an email notice last night stating that the price of the bag had dropped to $26 + $8 S&H and I decided to buy it before someone else grabbed it - because a total of 14 people had "liked" it.

The pictures are poor and few but I think that this would be a hard bag to fake because it is so detailed, and from what I can see, it looks right and it doesn't appear to be too badly abused. I also thought that the other coach items that this vendor has for sale looked okay (at least to me!)

I will not ask you to authenticate the bag with such scanty information, but I'd really appreciate it if you could just take a look and tell me if you can see any red flags that I've missed? Thanks so much!

Congratulations! I have this bag. I got mine for $26 too! I believe the color was called mahogany. As far as I know, whiskey is a Legacy color. I don't remember ever seeing it for Bleecker.

It's an authentic Penelope tote from 2012. (Note that zipper brand has nothing to do with authenticity. Coach uses (and used) several brands of zippers, many of which are also used on fakes.)
