Hello! Looking before I leap this time ... I found this bag on PoshMark, and it looks to be a great size and color for a winter carry-all-my-stuff-and-umbrella-too, especially since it has a zipper! Just wanted to check to make sure it is authentic first. :)

Item: "Coach Hampton Tote EUC"
Listing number: I don't believe PoshMark uses listing numbers. I could not find one.
Seller: carolynstamper

Size: 13x14x12

Thank you!

Coach Bag - D0712-11160

Please follow the following rules:

  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.

    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller:

  • If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
    Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
    • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.
  • Authenticators are not required to answer every request and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.
  • Please note that comments on price and condition are NOT permitted.
  • Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests should be posted in this thread.

  • Do not handle your disputes with other members in this thread but take your differences to Private Messages. Failure to do so can result in banning.

In the future, please include links to the website selling the bag, or information about when and from where you bought it if you have owned it for more than a few months. If you have owned it longer than a month or two, please say so. If its as expensive as the serial number indicates, assuming it's genuine, we need more information than just 2 photos. I can't even see the leather texture clearly in your photos.

Again, we need some sort of history, or what's called "provenance" in the antique trade.

We're also going to need more photos, but if we think it might be genuine we can ask for those once we track down a set of photos of a known genuine version for comparison.

JJ61 - since you didn't put any text in your Post 32496, the forum's Quote feature isn't picking up your post. Please include some kind of text with anything you post even if it's just a period.

REPOSTING with again (thanks, Catbird9)

Welcome. So far, the bag looks okay but I'd like to see a picture of the full front of the bag.

For future requests, please refer to post 1, page 1 for the information we need.

Thank you so much for your reply!

I’m also very sorry about my post being incorrect. Thank you so much for advising me for future reference.

I hope this picture helps,
Shaunasakura.
