  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

There is no creed in the pouch. Do some not come with a creed?

It was part of a lightweight line made for outlet that included cosmetic bags, foldable shopping bags, and travel bags. That might why it doesn't seem to match the quality of Coach you are used to.

The bag is fine. (Note that zipper brand has nothing to do with authenticity and we don't need to see the markings on the zipper.)

Although in this case, you got the real deal, Goodwill is notorious for selling fakes, both online and in their stores. They are of the mistaken belief that as a "charity," they can sell donated items and as long as they don't sell as authentic, it's okay. But that's wrong; it's illegal to sell fakes, knowingly or not and they're supposed to verify authenticity before selling.

As far as I know there is only one Coach Store in the whole of New Zealand...in Auckland...I dont get up there often at all...so I dont really know much about the brand. Finding two thrifting and the one I bought online is the closest I get.

There are at least 5 major red flags with that bag, it's completely FAKE.

You made a mistake in typing the seller's name, it's ATTIC41 with no space in between. If you do a search here for that name you'll find the seller has a history of selling fake Coaches going back to 2013.If you search using "attic 41" nothing comes up, except this absolute little gem that's had me laughing for the last 5 minutes - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The previous authentication request for one of wantisdeals 's listings was for a different bag with a different type of creed.

This listing doesn't have enough of the right pictures for us to authenticate it.

Please read post one, page one for the pictures needed. Pay special attention to the part just above the red where it refers to bags made after 2014.
