Hi authenticators,

Can someone please authenticate this bag? I'm hoping to wear to an upcoming event  As always, thanks for your time and expertise!

Item: Coach satin kisslock bag 3579?
Seller: eBay, linda*s***stuff
Listing: 202405436651
Link: https://m.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Handba...436651?hash=item2f204ddceb:g:gBgAAOSwVO1bdiMU
Comments: how do the satin bags wear? Can you clean them?
The bag is authentic but buyers need to be careful when buying from linda*s***stuff.

Although she says items have been authenticated, MyPoupette has made mistakes on Coach and in fact, when contacted in the past to verify that MP authenticated an item, MP was unable to verify. The response from MyPoupette was, "We do so many items for her that we can't confirm. If Linda says it was authenticated by us, it must have been."

As for satin bags, they are fairly delicate. Hang nails or other items can catch on the fabric and cause pulls or scratches.

I don't know about cleaning.

ETA: This is a fake that linda*s***stuff currently has listed:

Ok thanks, that explains the negative reviews I saw. It says returns are accepted so I might take the chance. Thanks!

Good evening, may I please request an authentication for this bag in my possession?
Court Bag in red, measurements are Length: 10" (bottom) and 9" (top). Width: 3.5" (bottom) and 2" (top). Height: 7.5".

Authentic Court bag from 2001.

Hi all hope that I didn't do my request wrong or if my post got lost in amongst some others, but I would really appreciate someone's keen eye taking a look at this. I've had a good look at other bags that are the same and it looks good to me, but I would love someone with some more experience to help me. Been lurking on the boards here for years and loving all your wonderful bag collections.

Many thanks Nikki

Thank you

Wait for one of our authenticators who knows current styles.

But just a few things - there's no photo of the Made In tag from inside the bag, There are only a few of that style on Ebay where the listings show a creed and serial number, but 2 others I've found have slightly different placements of the creed and numbers, and they were all supposedly made in tha same plant, month and year.

As for price, several of the NWT on Ebay US are being sold for considerably LESS than the price in the listing you posted even allowing for currency conversion.

Again, those are just my thoughts. Wait for the experts. And if you're not completely comfortable with a seller for any reason, DON'T BUY.

ETA - Personally I would avoid new sellers with only a 4-month history, and also this:
"aim to be with you 7-12 working days". That seems like a very long shipping time for items shipped within the UK. I've ordered items from Amazon UK shipped to the US with no extra-fast shipping and received them in less time.

And while I'm not seeing any evidence of the stock photos you mentioned, it's hard to tell if the seller takes her own photos since there are several different photography styles in her listings. "Stock" photos mean that they were illegally copied from a manufacturer's or retailer's website or adverts in violation of copyright laws, and I'm not seeing any evidence of that. Many sellers who sell multiples of the same item will use the same set of photos for multiple listings.

DO NOT BUY FROM modernfashionn69 for the reasons you and Hyacinth mentioned as well as other "issues."
BTW, I don't know whether you noticed, but if you look at her shipping info, it states her shipping time: "Will usually dispatch within 30 working days of receiving cleared payment"

30 days before shipping! That's BS and I have suspect that she's importing fakes.

As for pictures, I did an image search and the only sites on which I can find THOSE PICTURES are sites out of the Philippines, a country notorious for having close fakes. (Personally, I recommend against buying from sellers in that country and prefer not to authenticate because I don't want buyers to risk getting a "good" fake.)
