@BeenBurned I finally got around to rehabbing this black patent ergo satchel that you authenticated last October and it came out well, you can see the rest of the "after pictures" at the link below, thanks again!

It came out beautifully! You do such nice work.

All of you rehabbers perform miracles.

The one thing I tried to "fix" was to turn a pink dog collar and leash red and I blew it! They weren't ruined but they weren't red either. I ended up reselling because I couldn't put pink on my male dog.

I uploaded the photos already. Thank you all. I restarted my phone and tada! hope you guys can help me. That is from the factory as per my seller.

You referred to "the seller." Is there a link to the listing? What is the seller's ID.

Thank you for showing the link.

Unfortunately, I can't see the listings because the album is private but I see several red flags; and that's before even commenting on the pictures of the bag you received!!
Red flag 1: Private album. What is she hiding and why would she hide her items if there wasn't something to hide? It's possible that the pictures (that we can't see) aren't even her own pictures but may be stolen from other sellers.
Red flag 2: The seller describes herself as "BRANDED BAGSDIRECT SUPPLIER®"
Red flag 3: With authentic Coach, it's very difficult (if not impossible) for a reseller to obtain more than 3 of the same item, so for this seller to advertise that she's "OPEN FOR RESELLERS," I see another red flag.
Red flag 4: While there are honest sellers with Instagram accounts, I see far more dishonest sellers on IG and other social media than I'm comfortable with.

I'm curious -- Is this a seller in the Philippines? The IG home page looks very much like Filippino sellers' listings that I've seen on ebay, social media and other sites.

Regarding the pictures of the bag you've posted (and this is my personal opinion based on what I see), I would return it as I'm not comfortable with anything about the site from which you purchased, the lack of transparency of the seller and her items and the quality of the bag you got.

1. Based on the production tag you showed (the white label with 2 rows of numbers), that would be a MFF (made for factory bag) and as such, MFF bags don't have dust bags.
2. The open O-ring you've shown isn't something you should see on a brand new bag, supposedly so new that it still has padding on the straps.
3. The stitching is very sloppy
4. Some pictures aren't clear and definitive enough to determine if it's the pictures or the bag itself that seem off, but I don't feel good about it.

I'm sorry I can't tell you what you want to hear.

Hi authenticators

Could someone authenticate this?

Anyone else have this clutch? Any thoughts on how durable the satin is or how roomy the clutch is?

Item: Coach 8949 satin clutch
Seller: mercari, Hannah
Link: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m80012829885/

Thanks!

It's authentic from 2004 but it's a lousy listing. There are no measurements and little about the condition.

There are others on ebay that may have measurements.

But I would ask for more information from the seller. If she's not responsive, you can either take your chances or find other sellers.

ETA: This is the same seller and listing on ebay. It has measurements:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-H04J-8949-Black-Satin-amp-Leather-Rhinestone-Jeweled-Evening-Clutch-Handbag-/123197228818?hash=item1caf208712:g:eSEAAOSwJdNaytpE&_nkw=coach+8949&_sacat=0&_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc&nma=true&si=OMQybDn4jO7V5iroLlSAqpadD9E%3D&orig_cvip=true&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Thank you! When I click on the eBay listing it has it being about $20 more and sold, but it's still up on Mercari...

I messaged the seller but now I suspect she just forgot to delete the Mercari listing.

@BeenBurned - the seller says this is still available but the dimensions she sent me seem wrong. Do you have a rough idea of the size of the pouch portion, without the straps?

The other listing gives 9" by 5" by 2" and uses the same 4 photos as this listing. The seller says she took these photos so im not sure what to think...
I'm not sure what you're asking.

The seller on Mercari is Hannah -- https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m80012829885/
And the same person on ebay is hannahphillip -- https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/123197228818 (The listing ended so you'll have to click on the hyperlink to get back to her listing.)

You said, "The other listing gives 9" by 5" by 2"" but the "other listing" is HER OWN listing on ebay.

Depending how the bag is measured, the measurements can vary slightly from seller to seller. If someone measures with the bag stuffed, the width and height would be less than if measured flattened out. And if stuffed, the depth will be larger than if flat.

You can get an idea of the different measurements sellers got by comparing.
https://www.ebay.com/sch/Clothing-S...sac=1&LH_Complete=1&_from=R40&_nkw=coach+8949

ETA: Based on her measurements as compared to a couple more I looked at, I'm guessing (again depending how measured) width would be between 8.5 and 9" and height would be between 5 and 6.5"

ETA: I hope this isn't too late to add this to my reply to @LaVisioneer -- I found the bag on the Wayback.

Hi! Not sure if you guys might’ve missed this because it was at the end of the last page..

Item: Coach 1941 Dinky
Listing number: 153080057042
Seller: bornfreeonekiss2
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/153080057042?ul_noapp=true
Comments: I asked the seller for more pictures of the inside and they sent me this. They said they couldn't get a clear shot of the plaque on the inside but told me the item number (which I can include here if needed). Been looking for the cornflower dinky for ages so I hope this is authentic. Thank you for your help!

Thank you, and I'm sure that your dog appreciated your efforts! We rehabbers post pictures of our successes more frequently than our failures - but we have failures too!

That's why I try not to spend much money on a rehab project - if it doesn't turn out as good as hoped - I just say "oh well, it was a good learning experience, I won't do that again!"

And luckily we have a nice community of rehabbers here on the Coach Purseforum and we share tips and help each other out!

Thanks @BeenBurned!

I did not realize the ebay listing was her own; she just confirmed that was also her listing. On mercari she sent me measurements of 13" by 10" which seemed way off, so it made me suspicious.

Thanks for the photo using the way back. I never seem to be able to get it to find items I'm looking for it always seems to crash on me.

Good Morning Ladies! Would you mind taking a look at this bag? J8 always gives me the willies, no matter how good a bag looks otherwise. Please let me know if additional pics are required-it's been a while for me.

Rambler's Legacy-purchased at a local Goodwill, photos are mine. Measures roughly 10" wide x 9" tall.
Thanks so much!

Yup, that's why I said in this post that "This is the same seller and listing on eBay. It has measurements:
