It came out beautifully! You do such nice work.

All of you rehabbers perform miracles.

The one thing I tried to "fix" was to turn a pink dog collar and leash red and I blew it! They weren't ruined but they weren't red either. I ended up reselling because I couldn't put pink on my male dog.

Thank you, and I'm sure that your dog appreciated your efforts! We rehabbers post pictures of our successes more frequently than our failures - but we have failures too!

That's why I try not to spend much money on a rehab project - if it doesn't turn out as good as hoped - I just say "oh well, it was a good learning experience, I won't do that again!"

And luckily we have a nice community of rehabbers here on the Coach Purseforum and we share tips and help each other out!
LOL! I remembered that I'd posted about my dismal failure. My pictures show the pink leash (unaltered) and the red-pink collar (flubbed) in 2 different lights:

Hi! I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure if possibly the comment I’ve posted wasn’t fitting the proper format and that’s why I haven’t gotten a reply? I’ve posted here before in the same format and was fine so I’m just a bit confused.

Item: Coach 1941 Dinky
Listing number: 153080057042
Seller: bornfreeonekiss2
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/153080057042?ul_noapp=true
Comments: I asked the seller for more pictures of the inside and they sent me this. They said they couldn't get a clear shot of the plaque on the inside but told me the item number (which I can include here if needed). Been looking for the cornflower dinky for ages so I hope this is authentic. Thank you for your help!

Your posting format was fine.

When we don't respond (especially if you've bumped in the case of a missed post), there can be one of several possible reasons. (The possible reasons below aren't necessarily a complete list. There can be other reasons why a response isn't made.)
1. The pictures aren't adequate for authentication
2. The seller, poster or website is a problem and we prefer not to authenticate
3. No one knows the item well enough to authenticate it

In this case, I think it's a combination of #1 and 3. The 1941 collection bags are among very well-faked items and without many clear and definitive pictures, authenticity can't be determined. The seller's (either) unwillingness or inability to show the full creed and serial number and text limits our ability to see what's there and possibly request more pictures.

Additionally, other pictures are needed showing the kisslock, the inside of the kisslock compartment, any made in tags and labels that are in the bag and/or in pockets.

Thank you so much for your reply :) Now I feel bad for making you type out a long reply, sorry about that. Yeah, I am a little weary of the seller so I will try to see if the they can get me more clear pictures of the inside, otherwise I will sit this one out. Is there any particular reason as to why the 1941 bags are so easy to be replicated? I think I remember reading once that the numbering system is completely off or something?

Thank you again! I hope you have a wonderful day :)

They're well-faked because they're popular. If the counterfeiters find they can make more money by putting more work into making a better fake, they do it.

Yes, the numbering system is strange but something as simple as stamping numbers isn't why they're well-faked.

Hello! I have recently found two bags at different yard sales. I would like to know what you think of them when you have the time.

Black Leather - I believe it's a Willis
Size: 10" high (without handle) x 11" wide across the top.
