Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Thanks, I did notice the year and that it says Unites States for P plant. For this style, I think I saw more fakes than authentic bags.

You're probably right, I have it listed as "highly faked" in my files.

Some may take issue with my comment since it's not directly related to the listing you're asking about but personally, I am uncomfortable recommending sellers and listings when the seller lacks ethics.

Mercari isn't a site that is proactive in responding to reports of fakes and as such, there are lots of them there and there are sellers who know they can get away with selling fakes.

DJ Jones sold this fake Louis Vuitton set with an authenticity disclaimer and a price that indicates she's well aware that it's fake.

Sorry but that bag is fake. We've seen several variations of that style, none of which are even similar to a Coach style.

Whether the store has a return policy or not, it was illegal for them to sell a fake and I'd take it back and demand a refund.

It's hard to believe that ANY trustworthy consignment store would ever have accepted that for sale. The fake creed is bad enough, but that crooked Carriage emblem on the front should have been a major red flag. What were they thinking?

I don't see any red flags either but I wouldn't have bought it with those limited number of pics of the actual bag. Anyone can use stolen stock photos which is what lazy sellers do instead of showing the actual bags for sale. It will probably be best to ask sellers for photos needed for authentication before purchasing.

The bag looks fine. With additional pictures showing the back and pockets, under the flap and measurements, @Hyacinth can probably ID it.
