  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

Could you please help me authenticate this bag? I bought it and just received it, everything looks alright except the dustbag, which is kind of a cheap Satin material. The bag is rather small, so please excuse my blurry photos of the creed. Thank you so much in advance!

More photos “made in Tag”. It’s so hard to take interior photos of a small bag. Thank you so much!

Don't hold your breath hoping that the seller, amypeichel will do the right thing and end her listing. (She also has a very fake Fendi for which she's charging $150.) And don't expect Poshmark to take action on reports of fakes.

I’m going to play devil’s advocate and offer another perspective. If the “relationship” was so abusive she might actually benefit from “the breakup”.

Nobody deserves to be abused but you can’t control everyone and everyone’s reactions. Also Someone is always likely to be offended for a mod’s action even if they meant well. Just like a mod can’t always read people’s intention in writing. Not everyone speaks perfect English and not everyone can deliver a message that sings the same tone to everyone else.

Can’t win!

I'm starting to see that. I've reported the listing and I've emailed them because I don't want anyone to buy it and get ripped off. A week later and it's still listed.
Poshmark does NOT care. And that's one of the reasons why I refuse to authenticate listings from Poshmark, even if bags are authentic and even if sellers are honest. (And sadly for those sellers, Poshmark has ruined it for them because I advise against using PM.)

Over the years, I've reported thousands of listings of fakes and Poshmark has never removed a single one of them. While there are rare occasions where an honest seller might end her own listing after learning that an item is counterfeit (and illegal), that is totally unrelated to Poshmark doing the right thing. Why does poshmark have a "report" button if they're going to ignore it.

And another reason why I advise against poshmark is that their "expert authentication team" doesn't recognize authentic items or fakes. There have been countless instances of disputes where obvious fakes were deemed authentic (even after in-person inspections) by their "experts." And other cases where honest sellers with an authentic item were accused by Poshmark of listing a fake!

Poshmark is also known to ban members who advise sellers that their item is fake. Rather than remove the seller or the fake item, PM bans the messenger. Again, PM's actions speak volumes!

Perhaps by referring seller amypeichel here, she might come and be willing to learn. If she's honest, she might reason that mistakes can be okay if she learns from them.

All,

Just wanted to let everyone know the bag is authentic. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Wow, I have to say, I'm really did not know how much Coach bags were knocked off so well.

It's really awesome that you all offer this service.
Cheers,

Genuine, made in 2007 for the Factory Stores. I don't know the exact name.

In the future, please read Post number One in this thread and include the information listed there in any future authentication requests, thanks!
It might have been called a Chelsea pebbled hobo.

Hey guys I hope Im doing this right but I have my eye on a bag on eBay and i would like to know if she is real, it has a strange serial number that looks like its in between numbers 909 and 910?
seller: dutchtreat927
description : vintage coach doctor satchel bag w/ shoulder strap 1980s taupe
item #172844800035
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-COACH-Doctor-Satchel-Bag-w-shoulder-strap-1980s-Taupe/172844800035?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Genuine, it looks like a Madison Satchel, style 9765 from the early 1990s.

Read the two Salearea Coach Guides on Creeds and on Serial numbers here and in the posts after it for information about early serial number stampings. Also read the section on Coach creeds in the Authenticity Guides myths starting here:

Hello!
I was hoping somebody would be able to verify if my bag is authentic or not. I stupidly bought on eBay and then had a sick feeling a week later that I should have researched before spending the money!
Well it arrived today so I’m wanting to put myself out of misery lol!
Item: coach baby bag
Listing number : 191970685002
Seller: NYCholic
I couldn’t for some reason get the link as it’s only showing up in my eBay app so I will include a picture of the listing.

Many thanks for your time and efforts!

*edited to add a clearer picture of the tag!

I also just found a made in the Philippines tag too so have added that picture too ☺️

Hi! I'm new here, could you please help me authenticate this bag? I'm bothered by the serial number (No. J4647-F58321) and the made in vietnam tag, on the flipside, instead of the coach, it says made in vietnam in french I think. And the hangtag is a little bit crooked. P_20180601_145701.jpg P_20180601_150600.jpg P_20180601_145701.jpg P_20180601_150600.jpg P_20180601_145701.jpg P_20180601_150600.jpg Thanks in advance!
