  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number.   • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

Can someone confirm whether this is authentic? I wanted confirmation before reporting. (Heck if I'm wrong and it's genuine, I may purchase, but I don't think so, sadly.) . Thank you!

Comments: Creed says Made in Korea, font on exterior patch seems weird; exterior and interior patch have different numbers and fonts. I have no idea if Coach ever made a wheeled duffle bag, either, though I'd want one if they did!

Hmmm, here's another piece of luggage with the same font on the outside creed as the bag I just posted. I also can't see enough of the interior creed to tell where it was made, but I do see the numbers also don't match. So are the rules just different for the luggage? Or am I just stumbling across some bad ones in my searches?

Coach has NEVER made luggage in Korea! Or handbags, or briefcases, or wallets. And the "serial numbers" on both are complete fakes too.

The ONLY things Coach seems to have made in Korea are a few clothing and accessory items like scarves. Don't EVER buy a handbag or travel item with a Korea creed.

The Court Bag looks like a miniature briefcase, trim and tailored, perfect for a "day in court." I suspect that was the inspiration for the name.

PLEASE DON'T REPORT THE STYLE 5496 FROM SELLER "melytins". I finally managed to enlarge the creed and that one is genuine, Made in Thailand.

SORRY !!!!

Genuine, see my above post. The L plant code belongs to Thailand and this one is genuine.

Coach did make a few handbags with outside patches and generic serial numbers that didn't match the inside numbers. This may be the first time I've seen it on a travel item.
