Please authenticate. Both of these bags are in my possession.The first one is 8 x 11 x 3.75. Is it a City Bag? The Duffel sac is 13 X 15 X 9.25 or so. Thanks in advance for your wonderful expertise.

The first one is indeed a City Bag. Nice to see a Made in New York City City Bag!

I bought this spur of the moment and without pre-authenticating. After I bought it, I noticed there is no serial number and that the straps don’t have grommets (seems like the ones I’ve seen authenticated here do have grommets). It arrived today and the quality seems ok but I just don’t know so I’m consulting the experts! Attaching another clearer creed pic, but the pics in the auction are otherwise accurate. (On the plus side, the piping damage is not nearly as bad as I thought, but I’m not sure I care if it’s fake!) Thanks so much in advance!

It's authentic. It was made before Coach was putting numbers on creeds, probably in the early 70s. It is the smaller sized courier. I believe that is why it doesn't have grommets and also has smaller buckles.

I'd like to see how you tackle that piping repair.

Yes I saved them all in my PC. I recognized A8M but could not remember that style number. Since I just used my red one this weekend I knew the style number was not right. Mine is 4922.

It looks fine to me although I'm not sure why the seller is calling it "Bonnie Cashin style". Did Cashin actually design briefcases? I don't remember ever seeing any.

This one dates from the early 1990s according to the serial number, I'm still looking for the name...

OK, Monroe Brief, style 5276, introduced in 1993. Which was alsmost 20 years after Cashin ended her relationship with Coach.
