I'm hoping someone can help me and let me know if this purse is authentic or not. I've searched the internet including this site as thoroughly as I feel I can for last several days but couldn't find anything. I feel that since I've not found info on this particular bag then it's probably a fake. I've loved Coach for a long time but rarely get to buy unless secondhand and I don't know enough(but recently been learning) to authenticate so I don't usually buy. The purse in question I had difficulty trying to get a link so I have screen shots of all pics. Item name Kristin jacquard op-art. I appreciate any help. Crossing fingers to hear something soon just in case it's real. I'm dying for a Kristin
It's authentic and the style is Kristin op art large (something). I'm not sure whether the name was "satchel" but that's one name I found. Anohter called it a shoulder bag.

Just because you can't find something on line doesn't mean it's fake. A lot depends on where and HOW you're searching. And just because you CAN find a similar style someplace online doesn't mean it OR the one you're asking about is genuine. It's the details of the bag itself that prove whether or not it's authentic.

I don't have the exact name, probably something like Kristin Op Art Convertible Satchel, and it looks completely genuine, made in 2009.

ETA - GMTA!

It's probably one of the Op Art Sateen Satchels from this May 2010 Wayback page, unfortunately the links to the individual pages aren't working.

I researched this but could not find a definitive answer. I have seen a few coach bags (in the Madison era as I am looking for a Madison gathered leather bag) that have a serial number starting with M. So M1182 16282, for example. I did read something in an authentication post that a serial number would never start with the letters N through Z - but M is the 13th letter. I swear I counted a dozen times and it is the 13th letter, right? So it is not January through December. Does anyone what the M represents?

Read the six Salearea Coach Guides posted at Ebay, especially the ones on creeds and serial numbers:

Hi! Can you tell me if this is authentic? When I search the # I don't find the bag other than on ebay. Thank you!

I'm not sure where else you would expect to find it?

The style is from mid- to late 2015 and hasn't been on the Coach website for a while. It may have even been made exclusively for one of Coach's retail partners like Macy's, Dillard's, etc since the style number given in the listing ends with the letter "E". We would still need better pics to be sure it's genuine but the odds are that it's authentic. AND the F at the start of the serial number indicates a style made for the Factory Stores so it's hard to figure out WHO it was actually made for.

Thank you! I added pictures above. Do these help? I'm new to Coach and especially second hand Coach have no idea what I'm doing. I'm trying to learn. :) I wouldn't dare try to get them if it weren't for all of you here and your help. Thank you a million times!

Authentic crossgrain leather metro tote from 2015. It was a MFF (for the factory stores) item although it may also have been in some of the discount stores (Nordies Rack and the like).
