Please take a look at this vintage Courier, which is in my possession. It has many oddities- the clasp (?) for the bead chain is stamped “bead chain”, the Creed font looks strange even to my eyes, the zipper pull is wrong, the navy color is lighter and has more green than the usual almost black color and the hand tag is one sided.
Dimensions: 10” x 10” x 5”.

There is nothing wrong with that bag. It is authentic. It is just a little older than what you are used to. Hangtags from that era are all one sided. Many chains are stamped bead chain or ball chain, depending on what company made them.

Hello,
Can you help me authenticate this bag?

Hi authenticators,

Found this mystery large sling drawstring bag at my Goodwill boutique store today. I'm most confused by the color which appears to be sorta olive yet black in other parts... especially the bottom of the bag. I thought it might be lightweights? Is this maybe grey that has faded unevenly? Could you please check out:

16 inches tall, 9 inches across the round bottom. zip up pocket inside:

It's an authentic drawstring sling 4023, from the Lightweights collection. In my experience, the dyes they used for this collection were horrible and faded terribly. It is probably black. Rehabbing might help determine the actual color.

Thanks! I'll wash it and see what color the water runs. It's interesting that it has turned almost 2 toned, but the pocket with the creed does seem close to black, or maybe grey.

Can someone authenticate this please? Thanks!

Item: Vtg Brown Leather & Brass COACH ‘WILLIS’ CROSSBODY MESSENGER BAG 0974-584
Listing number: 232666944565

If you look closely at the serial number, it's actually 0974-534, not -584. The number is on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List at Ebay:

Here's Google's cached copy of the removed listing:

Hi! Can you tell me if this is authentic? When I search the # I don't find the bag other than on ebay. Thank you!

We need to see that pocket tag.

Very few of this seller's listings have enough of the right pictures to authenticate her items.
