Well, I’m sure glad to hear that it is authentic, thank you, Hyacinth. I’m rather ashamed to say that I neglected to ask for it, and you’re correct she didn’t offer it up. Usually I do ask..

My curiosity is piqued, can you explain to me what you mean about the unfortunate history of that ID?

Thank you, again!

It's something that was told to me in confidence, so I'm not going to repeat it. I just hope the seller understands about the importance of those pictures.

I understand and respect that. It sounds like there must be a story attached to this bag somehow, or to that seller. I will ask you if there is anything about the ID of this bag that I should be aware of should I choose to resell this bag down the road to someone else.

Thank you, Hyacinth

I would like some help authenticating this bag:

Coach Harley Hobo East West (small)
Serial: L1657-F38250
Dimensions 13” L 7.5” H

According to the seller, it was given to her by her cousin who bought the bag at a coach store in th US.

Photos are a bit fuzzy so I asked her to send more pics (posting as soon as she sends me more). I was just concerned because other Harley models in amazon had different-looking creeds - I don’t know if this bag’s creed is authentic versus the no-serial ones I saw in Amazon. Thanks for your replies.

Comments: Exterior looked ok to me then it all went downhill when I saw the interior. Am I correct in saying this is fake? Thank you!! P.S. I really DO NOT LIKE those 'authenticity cards' Coach came out with! How easy is it to put a card in a fake bag?!

This is the Amazon listing I saw for the same Harley bag I was planning to buy from a seller on Shopee.

As you can see, the berry Hobo’s creed looks different. The black Coach harley’s creed has a serial number (L1657-F38250) while the berry one from Amazon doesn’t. It also appears that the berry bag’s creed is in pebbled leather and the black hobo’s is in smooth leather. I’m confused. I’d like to know if the black harley hobo is the real deal.611736A9-4FC2-41BF-B574-BE2732269D03.png

It's a perfectly fine Equestrian Compartment Bucket. But the Equestrian line is faked a lot, usually the fakes will have invalid plant codes that don't match the location in the creed. That's not a problem here. But that's just one reason why creed and serial photos are so important.

The original owner of the ID created a lot of problems. She died and another family member took over the business and has been working to solve them.

Good morning all, I sold a Coach heart pendant necklace #94103 on 2/24, buyer received 2/26. She opened a case saying she doughts authenticity and states it seems poor quality. I purchased this at a Coach Company Store awhile back. I know it's genuine and want to direct her to this site.
This is how the link looks coppied from my phone.

Refer your buyer here.

The necklace is authentic and the buyer needs to keep in mind that most of Coach's jewelry is costume quality. Although they've made a few sterling silver items (and they were/are expensive), I can't recall 14K gold. Most, if not all of the jewelry sold at the outlets isn't even gold-plated or gold-filled.

It's pretty and often trendy costume jewelry that's sold at an affordable price.

If she isn't happy with it (although authentic) and since you have a return policy, let her know she's welcome to return in accordance with your return policy.
