• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Yes, it's a bag that was made to be sold at the outlet stores. The bag was made in 2015.

Coach does strange and inconsistent things. Sometime in mid-2014, they stopped putting serial numbers on creeds and instead, put the information on the white tag you posted from the other bag. Then, in a turnabout sometime in (I believe) 2016, they started putting the numbers on the creeds again. During the same period, they also changed the text on the creeds, now referring to them as "story patches."

Anyway, the gray bag is from 2017 and after they returned to putting serial numbers on the "storypatch."

And in true Coach inconsistent fashion, don't think for a second that all creeds are now called storypatches and not all bags (even during the time when they used the storypatch) had creeds stating they were the storypatch!

Confused? So am I!

I can't recommend that seller THEVINTAGEMINTS at Etsy, here's a series of posts from a few months ago where they listed a screamingly obvious fake. They don't authenticate their items.;

and a few more. The leather of the fake (the listing is still saved on Etsy) showed the allover badly wrinkled 'elephant skin" stretch marks found only on some older fakes. At the time I said "I agree, there's NO way I'd be comfortable with any listings and especially not descriptions from TheVintagemints".

Not only do I not recommend TheVintagemints at Etsy, but I am also reluctant to recommend Etsy. As I've done on Poshmark for years, I've also reported many listings of obvious fakes on etsy and Etsy has never removed a fake. (I don't waste my time reporting non-vintage because if they aren't going to remove illegal fakes, they certainly don't care about non-vintage!)

And in true TheVintagemints fashion, she continues to NOT authenticate items and continues to list fakes. WIthout much searching, I found this obvious fake:

Coaches made before 1994 DON'T INCLUDE THE STYLE NUMBER IN THE SERIAL NUMBER.
