Thanks. I will send the link for the J8Y prefix as well as the photos I took and the ones you mentioned I should take. This is a one time exception so I need to get it right. I took a photo of the counterfeit against my three authentic black Willis bags and it's extremely obvious to me so I hope they think so also. Clearly she has no intention of addressing this situation and I think Poshmark should block her from selling due to how she handled this situation w zero communication. Her Poshmark profile says she doesn't sell counterfeit bags, clearly she does.
It wouldn't matter whether or not she claimed she sold counterfeit bags; it is illegal. I don't have much faith in Poshmark authenticators so the more information you provide, the better. There was another member here who lost her claim with Poshmark when it was a very obvious fake.

So I need some help here. Poshmark emailed me back about the counterfeit Coach Willis bag sold by andine on Poshmark. They have asked for photos to back up why the bag is counterfeit. I took a photo of that bag next to my other as it's smaller then my authentictic one. I also took a photo of the dowels and the back of the brass turnlock as well as the really bad stitching on the handle compared to mine. What else can I give them to help get my money back from her?
You need to show some documentation that all J8Y prefixes are fake. Y was never a valid plant code for the US. I don't think a Y was ever used for a plant code anywhere.

I think the padding above the turnlock might be the wrong shape. Compare the placement of the pockets. Look at the inside zipper pocket - does it have stops at both ends and does it go all the way from end to end, or is a little too short for the pocket?

Compare the shape of the top handles. An authentic one will taper so the edging will be closer together at the ends than in the center.
Give me a minute. I'm preparing a couple of side by side pictures to submit to them. My comps she ANDINE's fake vs. authentic items.

So I uploaded about 13 photos with all the differences in the bags. I don't really have faith either that they will refund me but if they don't I can try to get a refund thru PayPal hopefully. I've given them all the evidence I can give them. It's just sad that they continue to let other poshers sell counterfeit items with zero repercussions. If that's so that's not a website that I think I want to continue to purchase things off of. Thanks again for your help and I'm sorry this purchase slipped them the cracks of being authenticated. I won't happen again, I can assure you. It was an expensive lesson.

DId you use a credit card to fund the payment whether through Paypal or directly? If so, if they find against you, you can and should file a dispute with your card company.

In Poshmark's defense (and I certainly don't defend them often), I don't think the site purposely ignores disputes and finds in favor of the wrong party. Instead, I think it's that they don't have admin or mods with the expertise necessary to accurately decide cases. And in fact, worse than not having people with expertise to evaluate disputes, they have people who don't know they don't have expertise, they make wrong decisions and buyers and sellers (depending on the case) get screwed.

I also find it frustrating and immature when a site allows its sellers to block members who have nothing to gain but offer help and advice. Yet sellers in denial (like Andine) will block the messenger rather than learn from her own mistake.

And as such, these are just some of the reasons why I usually don't authenticate listings on that site and I certainly don't do business there.

Thank you! I also submitted those for them to review. I also found this to be quite funny

Counterfeits
Not only is the sale of counterfeits and unauthorized replicas of branded products prohibited on Poshmark, but it is also illegal. If the product you are listing bears the brand or logo of a company or designer, but it wasn't made or authorized by that company or designer, this item is not permitted. If you cannot verify the authenticity of an item, please do not list it on Poshmark. Additionally, using a company's name or trademark in a way that may confuse buyers about the item's origins, or confuses buyers into believing that you or the item is affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the trademark owner is both illegal and a violation of our policies. Members who buy or list replicas or fakes risk immediate and permanent suspension from Poshmark.

Damn. So I just looked and I had a PayPal balance so it looks like that was used to pay for the bag.
That could work to your benefit too.

If you lose the case through Poshmark, you can open a SNAD case through Paypal. But don't do anything until PM comes to a decision. You can't have 2 cases open at once.

And.....Whateve beat me!

Here's the listing:
https://item.mercari.com/gl/m38214197715/

It's authentic.

Warning Mercari buyers: While looking for this bag, I came quite a few other very obvious fakes. I don't know how good Mercari is about responding to reports.
@BeenBurned
I have one more question about this bag. Does the strap look like its original in terms of length. Seller says it has an 11" drop. I thought it should be a bit longer but wasn't sure. Thanks.

It looks short to me. These normally came with a 44 inch strap but a 36 inch strap could be substituted. A 36 inch strap would have closer to a 14 inch drop I would think.
