I don't use the app and certainly won't download it to fill up my phone for a site that doesn't remove fakes.

Apparently they don't have a way to report or contact on the desktop version. Clearly, Mercari doesn't care.
They do care but they don't know what's authentic or not unless someone says so. I don't think they have a team for authentication. I had bought a keychain from PM without authenticating. Tried selling it thinking it was authentic bit got burned after my customer demanded refund saying it wasn't authentic. $6. And they suspended my account though I told them I didn't know it was not authentic. They actually are a lot stricter than posh Mark. They monitor every message between sellers and buyers in every transaction. You mention the word trade in a message and you get kicked out. If you even mention to seller "oh I found this on Posh Mark came to buy here".. and mercari will read that message and give you a warning for even mentioning their competitors.
BTW, I did contact this seller and she said she figured it was because of the price. She bought it from Mercari herself. I told her to get her money back by contacting Mercari. Hope she gets her money back.

Should I get a legible serial/creed picture first? I'm looking for a bag in decent shape, but not sure if its vintage I am after or just an era where I can be sure these Willis bags are made well. Is it better to aim for an older bag? Thanks!

How the bag has been treated is just as important as how it was made.My own personal preferences are for the bags made in the USA, Italy or Costa Rica rather than China but that's just my opinion.

I agree that what we can see of the bag appears to be genuine, but that seller has what I'd call a "spotty" Ebay Feedback record, see their Neutral and Negative feedback history over the last few years at Toolhaus.org:
http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=station_85&Dirn=Received+by&Many=ON&ref=home

The seller has one Negative in the last few months claiming a bag isn't genuine Coach, but because the seller refuses to post clear creed photos there's no way to tell if it's real or not. I personally would never buy from them due to a very old transaction from about 10 years ago, but things can change. However, the need for clear creed photos DOESN'T change. The seller should know better.

Please authentic, thank you in advance, Apologies if I forgot something, all so posting extra photos. What I am not sure about is the back of the hangtag is not pink and the wording in the creed tag.

I'll preface my comments by saying that I don't usually comment on Poshmark listings because I don't believe Poshmark does enough to make the site safe and honest. I also don't do business there and can't recommend PM because they've made too many mistakes, both in not recognizing fakes as such (in disputes) as well as punishing sellers of authentic bags because pM thought the items were fake.

Many of the newer bags, including the 1941 collection bags are very difficult to authenticate. The creeds have "serial numbers" that don't mean anything, and hidden labels that have information that would have been on the creed in years past.

And now, as indicated in the listing and pictures you've provided, it looks like Coach is putting the non-style number on the tags as if that's the style number!!

But not only did Coach make authenticating difficult but the counterfeiters did a really "good" job faking some of these styles. The fakes are extremely close.

I'm totally confused by this listing but because I tend to gravitate toward the more recent bags for my authentications, I think it's worth pointing out my reservations.

I do NOT know whether your bag is authentic or not but these are my concerns.
1. The poshmark listing describes the bag as style 58840, and that seems to "look like" Coach's picture:
http://www.coach.com/coach-rogue-25-with-tea-rose/58840.html

2. The "serial number" on the bag in the poshmark listing shows the serial number as EK-87065.
Another listing for the same style (58840) shows the creed as having RG-20315, a "serial number" found on other Rogues:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Coach-R...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

3. Your tag (price tag) shows 87065 as the "style number" in the upper left. However that isn't the style number and I've never seen the non-style numbers on Coach's tags. I would have expected that tag to show 58840 as the style as shown in this listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-COACH-1...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

4. The tag shown in the Poshmark listing has a different font and style number as compared to the others, one from the outlet and the other from a boutique bag:
Screen Shot 2017-09-25 at 8.24.56 PM.png

5. Between the differences above as well as the sloppy stitching, I'm not comfortable with the bag. Even if authentic, the quality seems to be lacking.

Other opinions are welcome!

I have either the best or worst timing... BeenBurned, if this is too frustrating to authenticate, I respect your decision.
This one has the familiar serial # format, the 58840 style #, and the 'hug it drape it' wording. The quality and details seem there to me, but would appreciate more eyes [emoji846]

This one looks much better to me.

I don't see any red flags.

Thank you for all the info, I am sending it back. Something just doesn't seem right ( outside of everything you pointed out).
I think you are doing the right thing. There are too many questions and if you were ever to tire of it and try to sell, all those issues would be called in to question all over again.

Here's another very telling comparison and when this comp is added to all the other problems, I'm convinced that the bag you bought from aubwholesale on poshmark is fake.

The bag on the left side of the picture shows puckering on both corners that Coach would NEVER have allowed. The bag on the right shows @Ravvie99 's bag.
