Are you sure they look identical? Are you sure the black one is authentic? Compare the inside pockets. The location and width of the pen pockets are often gotten wrong by counterfeiters. In the pictures you posted, the creed is a mess. It is too puffy. The creed number is inconsistent with the wording. The creed says it was made in the US, but the plant code is a Z, and the Z was never used to indicate the US. The creed also isn't located in the right place on the pocket. Here is an example of an authentic creed for that style that shows the pocket arrangement.
Thank you that was very helpful! Thank you, thank you!

Hello Masters of Authentication,
Recently I picked up a box of "Grandma's old purses" from a yard sale and I would love to hear whether these bags are genuine, and a little more about them if they are. Thank you all for looking at them for me!

Here's a couple

Wow, one of these still has tags!! In order to ID bags without a style number in the creed, we need measurements. Both of these are part of the Sheridan line from the early 90s. The top one could be a Hollister tote #4220 if the measurements are around 16 3/4 by 12 by 4 1/2 inches. The bottom probably says what it is on the tag, but it looks like a Darcey drawstring #4229.

The bottom one is a saddle pouch made in the 1980s. These came in 3 sizes. I can't tell if yours is the large #9585 (11 x 9 inches) or the medium #9590 (9 x 8 inches)
Thank you BeenBurned! You should move here; I'd love to have a fellow purse lover around lol.
Here's a couple more of Granny's gems:

Both are authentic. I don't know what the top one is. The bottom one is Legacy Crescent made in 2001.

I'll take some measurements when I get home and update. I really appreciate all the help from TPF!!

Picked up a couple of bags from Goodwill, could you please authenticate?:
Willis 10 x 10 x 3
I think there is an after market addition on the strap, pretty sloppy, but I think it will rehab nicely!

So, The Sheridan tote fits the Hollister measurements, but the drawstring bag tag is interesting and says 4229 Roswell Satchel. It looks like the Saddle bag is the large size based on the measurements.
The bag above that one (black rectangle) is 10x7x1 apprx. It has a strap I have never seen before on a Coach and says on the creed something about being resilient to travel. Odd, new to me anyway..
The nubuck brown small bag still has its care card and measures 11x5.5x3.5.
Please let me know if you need any more information about them. Thank you all once again for your time and for sharing your knowledge! :smartass:
