Thank you and be safe!

So, The Sheridan tote fits the Hollister measurements, but the drawstring bag tag is interesting and says 4229 Roswell Satchel. It looks like the Saddle bag is the large size based on the measurements.
The bag above that one (black rectangle) is 10x7x1 apprx. It has a strap I have never seen before on a Coach and says on the creed something about being resilient to travel. Odd, new to me anyway..
The nubuck brown small bag still has its care card and measures 11x5.5x3.5.
Please let me know if you need any more information about them. Thank you all once again for your time and for sharing your knowledge! :smartass:

The tag on the drawstring bag is wrong. 4228 is a Roswell Satchel, 4229 is a Darcy Drawstring.

The black travel item is almost impossible to identify since travel pieces often weren't in the catalogs, and without a style number or even a year code it really can't be searched for.

Style 9475 is a West End Nubuc Mini Hobo from 2000.

I agree with Hyacinth. The drawstring can't be a Roswell satchel, as a Roswell isn't a drawstring style. The tag is wrong. Is it handwritten? It must be a Darcey 4229. The other drawstrings don't have the leather strip around the top. Measurements should be 9 1/2 by 12 by 5 1/2 inches.

The measurements are a bit off. It is about 13W 12 1/2H 6D. Hmm. Here's a couple photos of the tag:

That is so odd! It is definitely a Darcey. It's a big bag. This is what a Roswell looks like. You can see the ad says the style number is 4228, not 4229 that is on your tag. The style number on your tag is correct for a Darcey, but the name is wrong.4228_Roswell Satchel-Fall1993preview.jpg

The letters in the front stamp look squished together, and the lining is wrong, it looks like the stripes are 2 different colors. There's too much zipper above the top edge and the zipper and leather around the zipper isn't right either. And the zipper color should match the leather. The seams and the leather and color quality also look iffy.

ETA - here's what the genuine ticking lining should look like, except for the creed patch which was only used in one or two styles:

Authentic Vintage Coach Green Leather Cosmetic/Make Up Case
eBay item number:

seller:chitowngenetics1
Pretty sure I made a mistake here. Please confirm.

I agree. That creed example is from my skinny case! I have another that is identical in every way except no creed patch (and color). Another thing to check is the shape of the corners. Authentic cases have rounded corners, more rounded than the fake in the listing.

Since we're talking about skinny cosmetic cases, I'll mention this one I question.

The seller posted several different pouches in different colors on ebay's fashion board. She has listed this one, the imprint of which she (conveniently) didn't post in her authentication request.

I don't think this is authentic. Not only is the imprint in the wrong place but the lining doesn't appear to have the correct texture.

Thanks, @whateve for both confirmations.

You're welcome. And spill! What is the seller's response to your request for a refund?

Just got it this morning! Return item for a full refund!
Now I asked for a return label. Waiting to hear.

If you filed SNAD, you should get the label and the funds would come from the seller's account.

ETA: BTW, you might want to add an update to the feedback you left that indicates the item turned out to be fake. That way, if she tries to relist, the next buyer might read the feedback and hit the back button.

I'll try to figure out the SNAD tonight. It lead me to "try to work things out with the seller first". I probably did the wrong thing.
I didn't know I could adjust the feedback! Thanks for that tip. Will do.

Ask the seller to send you the return label or the money for one. She may not want you to open a SNAD claim against her. As long as she is cooperating, I don't see any reason to.

I agree with trying to work it out first. I thought you'd already filed the dispute, thus my comment about return shipping being paid by the seller.

Seller never responded to pay for return shipping. Opened the case tonight with eBay and they paid me within minutes.
Probably thanks to y'all for reporting and having the listing removed.
Anywho, maybe I'll use it as a fire starter to set the Sonoma Nubuc a blaze!

Checking up on this. Love the blue. Thanks as always ladies!
Note that the swaggers are among several very SCARY well-faked styles and authenticating them is difficult, time-consuming and often, not possible.

See this part of the first post of the thread. The seller is missing a very important and critical picture.
Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.

Thanks for the info! Guess it wasn't meant to be. :hrmm:
