Are you sure they look identical? Are you sure the black one is authentic? Compare the inside pockets. The location and width of the pen pockets are often gotten wrong by counterfeiters. In the pictures you posted, the creed is a mess. It is too puffy. The creed number is inconsistent with the wording. The creed says it was made in the US, but the plant code is a Z, and the Z was never used to indicate the US. The creed also isn't located in the right place on the pocket. Here is an example of an authentic creed for that style that shows the pocket arrangement.

@babybaby123, if you're comparing, make sure you compare (as Whateve did) your brown (fake) to another bag of the same style, 9966. (There are styles that may look similar but unless you're comparing apples to apples, you can make mistakes. For example, style 9997 and 9966 look similar but if comparing details, they won't be the same.)

It's also important to know that your comps are authentic.

Are you able to get a refund from wherever you bought that bag?

I think it is fake. I don't think the C plant was active in 2002. The font of the creed matches other fakes I've seen. The bottom seam is wrong, and I think there are other problems.

What do you think? I've never seen anything remotely similar to that Bonnie Cashin styled one.

I've never seen that Bonnie Cashin keychain and I don't believe it's authentic. THe chain links are too thin and the wrong shape and the charms look like a copy of Brighton styled items.

I'm also doubtful of the brass colored multicharm keychain with the snapheads and lozenges. I can't find the style it seems to be based on but it doesn't look right and the charm clip definitely isn't used by Coach.

The brass heart (92069), the patchwork flower charm (94051) and the hangtags are probably okay.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. The brass multicharm keychain is copying #92186 Bleecker charm, and I think it is fake.

As BeenBurned pointed out, the seller also has a fake listed. And it's such an OBVIOUS fake that there's no excuse for any seller to not recognise the simple and easily searchable fact that not only is the serial number prefix invalid, but the style number 9525 belongs to a Stewardess Bag, which looks nothing at all like the duffle-type fake and is one of the most recognizable styles Coach has ever made.

The Glazed Roll Bag in the listing you asked about is genuine but the seller also neglected to mention that the long shoulder strap is apparently missing. I own 2 examples of this style, and just want to warn anyone interested in it that chances of finding a strap to match are Slim to None.
