This is the 3rd bag I got thrifting this weekend (and now I am done getting bags for a while).

Its serial number says G4C-4115 - I know that 4115 is seen a lot in fake bags, but I've also seen a post from 2013 with a bag that looked identical to this one that turned out to be legit. So please have a look and tell me what you think.

Dimensions: 12" tall, 11.5"-ish wide, 4.25" deep, 42"ish strap.
(There's a towel jammed in the bag to give it shape for the exterior photos - you can see some of it poking out of the top in photo #5.)

Thank you all again!
It's an authentic Whitney bag from 1994.

It's an authentic Spectator bag #9795. You got a great deal!!

The copyright date gives us a very good indication of when it was made, either 1986 or 1987. Anything newer than 1987 would not have "Made In New York City" on the creed, it would say United States or U.S.A. instead. The stamp on the inside of the front slip pocket is probably by the leather supplier.

Snoopy's Happy Dance! Thank you

The first one (from seller aby84me) looks fine.

I'm not comfortable with any of the listings from adtshop because i don't feel confident that the pictures in the listing are her own. They appear to be stolen images found on the internet and on other websites and not only is using someone else's work illegal but with highly faked brands, it's important to see the seller's own pictures of the actual items.

Thanks Been Burned. I find it hard to tell which ones are stolen photos and which ones are legitimately owned by the seller. It gets tricky when they use photos that were personally taken by someone else instead of the photos say from the Coach website. So glad you gals help people like me. Thanks again! :-)

IMG_9861.JPG IMG_9872.JPG IMG_9858.JPG IMG_9873.JPG Hello, Please help ID/Authenticate this Coach Bag. The Creed is vey faint so I could not get a good picture. But I did take pic of the inside and out of the bag. It measures 7x8.5x2 and it has a magnetic closure on the flap. The flap only goes a part way down. It reminds me of a watermelon slice.

Try brushing light-colored powdered eye shadow over the creed - sometimes that helps a lot to bring out the details.

A macro close-up of the "male" part of the magnetic snap so we can read what's stamped on it would also be a huge help. And try using a light swipe of light-colored powder eyeshadow as katev suggested. Even baby or talcum powder might work if there are no other light-colored powders available.

ETA - It looks like a genuine Paris Bag (standard or small) style 4100 from the Lightweight collection from around 1989-90, the serial number will just be a string of 7, or in very rare cases 8, numbers. Here's the Spring 1989 catalog pic:
