It's genuine, and that's ALL I can say until you supply measurements, photos of any other labels that might be on that box or stamped on the paperwork, readable photos of any copyright dates on any of those small papers and cards, and the URL of the Ebay listing. These are required for authentication and Identification as set out in Post number One of this thread. Thank you!

Thank you so much. I measure the external dimensions as 29cm wide by 20 cm high and 10cm depth at the base. The URL of the EBay listing is here (it is the UK site):

I can find any labels anywhere on the bag or box but I've photographed everything I can to help. The only copyright symbol I could find is on the care leaflet, which is 1986.

Hi there, I would be really grateful if you could authenticate and, if genuine, identity this bag which is in my possession following a gamble on an EBay listing with minimal description and poor quality photos. The leather is quite firm, but the strap is almost spongy soft, and the bag has no signs of use at all (but some indication of age - just like me).

Hi again everybody!
Here's I another bag that I picked up during my adventures this weekend - I can't bring it back but I'll do what I can with it.

If it's real, I think it's a Monterey Flap Top-Grain from late-1999 (if I'm reading the serial number correctly - M9F-6147). I've never seen a trapezoidal bag before, thought it was kinda neat. Would make a good present to my boyfriend's mom, she's been eyeing it since I got it.

Dimensions: about 9.5-10" tall (slouchy); 8.5" wide at the top and 10" wide at the bottom; sides start at 2.5" wide at top to 4" at bottom; strap is about 47"

(photos - front, back, side, closeup of strap hardware, bottom, front open, closeup of magnetic, inside bag [cigarette smoke not pictured], creed.)

The copyright date gives us a very good indication of when it was made, either 1986 or 1987. Anything newer than 1987 would not have "Made In New York City" on the creed, it would say United States or U.S.A. instead. The stamp on the inside of the front slip pocket is probably by the leather supplier.

This is the 3rd bag I got thrifting this weekend (and now I am done getting bags for a while).

Its serial number says G4C-4115 - I know that 4115 is seen a lot in fake bags, but I've also seen a post from 2013 with a bag that looked identical to this one that turned out to be legit. So please have a look and tell me what you think.

Dimensions: 12" tall, 11.5"-ish wide, 4.25" deep, 42"ish strap.
(There's a towel jammed in the bag to give it shape for the exterior photos - you can see some of it poking out of the top in photo #5.)

Thank you all again! :)
