It's authentic. It was called a multi-function purse, #7219. It is probably from the late 90s. I've never seen one with a rusted keyring, so that part might have been replaced but it is the right kind of ring. Some of them have a country of manufacture stamped behind the zippered pocket.

Thank you Whatever, for your opinion.
I'd welcome other Purse Forum authenticators to weigh in on my new Musette bag, just so i have a consensus. Real...or questionable?

I agree, it's genuine - congratulations!

The padding above the turnlock IS unusual, as Whateve mentioned, but it's exactly the same as what Coach used very briefly in the early 1980s on the Musette and several other handbag and briefcase styles. Here's Coach's Fall 1982 catalog illustration for the Musette (almost identical to the 1983 drawing), which helps confirm the early 1980s production date. By 1986 the padding had been almost completely eliminated.:

And while they may have re-issued the style at least once since then, it's the original version that collectors look for. Even the hangtag looks original.

Item: Hampton's Weekend Patchwork Wristlet
Details: 40429 SV MT, released in Spring 2007 ($98)
Seller: Savers $10
Comments: I can't imagine that the intricate patchwork pattern on this wristlet could be faked, but I have been fooled before so I always appreciate your opinion and input, thank you!

That Hamptons Weekend Patchwork design HAS been faked, on handbags as well as wristlets and wallets. Usually the crooks get not just the patches but also the lining and front leather patch wrong. The wristlet and some other small accessories are unusual in that the front and back use different patches, so they take a bit more care when authenticating.

This one is genuine though, style 40429. Here's the website pic:

Thank you! It's a good size and I think that it will go well with some of those summery, beachy bags that I love so much!

Listing number: eBay item number:292185498398

Seller: sockmonkey13

Comments:
A friend of mine recently bought a bag from sockmonkey13 on ebay and asked me to help her authenticate it. I thought the serial looked off as none of my bags have that many dashes(I have never seen one like this) but I wouldn't want her to file a complaint before we're sure, so if anyone can help, we would really appreciate it.

Here's a picture of the creed. Thank you again for any help!IMG_2343.JPG

The bag is fake and your friend should open a SNAD dispute against sockmonkey13.

This isn't sockmonkey13's first fake either. On May 8, the seller had a listing removed for a bag with a known invalid serial number, 233-5678.

In both cases, a tiny amount of research and googling would have told the seller what she needed to know about her bags and that they were illegal to sell.

ETA: Your friend should add a comment to the feedback she left for the seller to say that the bag was counterfeit.

Good luck. You might want to refer the seller here.

I found that in addition to the fake your friend bought in July, 2017 and the other fake removed in May, 2017, she was also posted on the Hall of Shame in April 2014:

DO NOT BUY FROM SOCKMONKEY13.

Hi there, I would be really grateful if you could authenticate and, if genuine, identity this bag which is in my possession following a gamble on an EBay listing with minimal description and poor quality photos. The leather is quite firm, but the strap is almost spongy soft, and the bag has no signs of use at all (but some indication of age - just like me).
