Hi everyone. I picked up this beauty the other day. It's my first "newer" Coach bag--I'm a vintage Coach addict, and so I don't know much about authenticating newer bags. It feels like a good weight and the leather is pretty soft. The only thing that's throwing me off is the dot between the "No" designation and the letter B in the creed. What do you think? Many thanks in advance!

Item Name (if you know it): Kristin Leather Hobo

Genuine. The dot in the serial isn't a problem, I've seen that before. The bag is one of the many different variations of the Kristin Leather Hobo. This one was made for the Factory Stores in 2013. The Kristin Hobos are one of my very favorite recent styles.

Thanks so much, Hyacinth! I've always been googly-eyed over vintage Coach bags, but the Kristin has such a timeless quality (and love that the interior lining of these bags come in different bright colors). Big fan of the interesting clasp in the front--wish new bags still had that!

Hello all, could anyone take a peep at this? I'm still quite new to bags and this forum so I hope my post is okay! I did a search and didn't find this posted so here goes..

Item: 1941 Rogue, medium size, second gen
Listing number: 132256873674
Seller: julieplume-half
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/132256873674
Comments: The picture of the creed is a little dark, but it seems to say B1780-38124, which if I'm reading correctly was made Feb 2017. I'm not sure what the 80 would stand for, the plant number? Thanks in advance!

I think it looks okay but you might want to verify the condition with the seller. She describes it as NWOT but I wonder whether it's been used. In the third to last picture showing the inside of the zippered pocket, the lining looks stained and discolored. The floor of the interior looks filthy and especially on the right side of the photo, there appear to be quite a few spots.

(And my editorial comment is that the seller shouldn't be using Coach's stock image for her first picture nor should she be plagiarizing the description. She should be doing her own work.)

I'll have to ask, I thought the floor of the interior was all shadows! And yes, I'll keep that editorial comment in mind when I inevitably start selling my own bags too. Thank you for such a quick response! [emoji5]

On the bottom, it could be shadows but on the side, it looks like there are a bunch of spots. I couldn't even point to all of them, there seemed so many.

Hi All,
Is this an authentic musette bag?
Item:
Vintage Coach Briefcase Brown No. 557-6512 Made In New York City

Comments: it was poorly listed if it is an authentic musette - much to my benefit!! Thank You for any and all information

That's what it looks like - no zipper on the inside pocket, and no outside back pocket. If you're the winning bidder, congratulations

I just want to add in my two cents here, I own a Rogue too and I think the spots might just the fabric blend. It's like a cotton/linen material and my bag also has those little specs in the fabric. Here's my bag's interior, it's beige with darker flecks. IMG_1499996321.911437.jpg IMG_1499996330.360553.jpg

Ohh, I see what you mean about those spots.

Thanks for your pics! So it might just be the fabric then
Thanks for pointing that out.
