Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Both bags look genuine. But the seller should post more photos showing the condition, especially the insides.

The letter for the month code was usually the first digit but sometimes the digits in the first part of the serial would get scrambled up, but 1994 and newer numbers will ALWAYS include at least one letter in the serial prefix.

Thanks for confirming. (The seller, slidin has a history. This is the 4th time I've found fakes since October, 2016.)

If I already know that the bag is a Coach and I'm looking for the (1) name of the bag and the (2) advertised description of the bag that Coach used when selling the item, as well as the (3) date and price, is this the forum that can provide me with the information? I can post pictures of the bag as well as the Coach price sticker associated with the bag. The serial number reads M0969-14806. The abbreviated description on Coach price tag reads FLGP PR LTH CLUTCH SV/Silver. It's a very unusual tri-fold clutch with 2 lipstick holders / French coin purse / card slot holders for 2 cards / plastic mirror / multiple zippered pockets / 3 ways to wear it--clutch, shoulder,wristlet. The lining is patterned with multiple sized colorful circles and squares. I cannot find any images of this clutch on Google. Tried your authentication Coach link and substituted the numbers with 14806 and got nothing back. Can anyone help???

If you personally bought the item at a Coach store or directly from Coach's website, you can post identification questions at the ID This Coach thread in the main Coach forum, but we still prefer pictures of the item and the price tag with the codes.

If it wasn't bought by you directly from Coach, ask about it here at THIS thread and include the information and pictures requested in Post number One of this thread. It has to be authenticated before it can be identified. If we know the name we'll include it in our authentication.
