Genuine, but we really need measurements to identify it. It it measures about 9.5 x 5.5 inches it's probably a Pocket Purse, style 9755 from the early 1990s.

Happy Independence Day, authenticators and Coach addicts! I know nothing about non-vintage bags, but am looking for a bag for my mom, who can't carry a heavy purse. Was wondering if this would be a good choice, and if it's authentic:
Listing number: 292172372017
Item link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Black...372017?hash=item4406d49831:g:Fz0AAOSww9xZMamm

Seller: serenity27lt

TIA. Also, if anyone can recommend a vintage bag for me to search for (easy to open, not too deep, not too heavy, with some good compartments), I'd appreciate it so much.

The term "heavy" is subjective. The bag in the listing is authentic but I think it might be considered heavy.

How does your mom carry her bags? By hand, short strap(s) over the shoulder, long strap hanging straight down from one shoulder, or crossbody? Or a combination?

I've had this grey suede flap cover crossbody D33-9578 for a while now. Either picked it up at the flea market or a yard sale.
I can't seem to find this particular registration anywhere, but have found a C33-9578. Is mine fake, then? Thanks for your help!

It's genuine. The numbers to search for are the ones in the set to the RIGHT of the dash in the number. The others are factory production information codes.

The style is a Soft Legacy Suede Flap from 2003.

And even if both bags had exactly the same numbers, that doesn't prove that either one of them is genuine. That takes an expert.
