I agree, the white one's definitely fake, the other two are ok. The number is even on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list posted at Ebay. Point the seller right to this URL if s/he doesn't believe you:
http://www.ebay.com/gds/Fake-Coach-Serial-Numbers-NT-4903-and-more-/10000000002744619/g.html

Under "Always fake" -
"0444-317, 0444-316 AND 0444-315 and possibly others beginning with 0444 - some "classic" fakes are showing up with these numbers and have a number of mistakes in the creed stamps and on the bags themselves. Assume they're all fake.

Any 'classic' leather bags with the # 0444-31(X) and heavy horizontal lines both above and below the numbers is fake.

0212-578 and 1212-578 with and without the same fake "Overstamping" lines have also recently shown up"

Thanks! The seller has responded to my request for return by offering a small partial refund of $10. That kinda bothers me because that means she is not paying the refund for shipping, which she also overcharged for (charged $23 then squashed all 3 bags into a medium flat rate box which is actually $13). SO I'm going to negotiate further. I kinda want to send the whole lot back just out of principle because the fake irritated me and I don't think she should be able to get out of it so easily.

I hate when the sellers stuff and squish into packages that don't fit and they try everything to make them fit and not give a hoot about how they send it. My red swagger was squeezed into two padded flat rate envelopes and taped in the middle. Luckily my bag wasn't damaged much and the folds in the leather was already there in the listing photos.. I had to go back to make sure they were there and weren't caused by the squeezing. I left a positive review but I emailed to let them know that I would have appreciated if they informed me that it wouldn't fit in what I paid for. I would have gladly paid for medium FR box.

I bought a lot from eBay impulsively and I'm certain at least the white city bag is fake, and I'm not sure about the red one. I stupidly didn't notice the failure to show to creeds..

The white one is fake. I think the other 2 are okay but wait for Hyacinth to confirm.

BTW, this time, I'm seeing your pictures! (Is it Friday, the 13th?)

ETA: This is why we recommend seeing pictures of creeds (and other pertinent parts) of the bags before bidding/buying.

Thanks! Hopefully the return will be smooth and easy.

Oh, boy. I have VERY strong opinions about both buyers and sellers who don't do the right thing. (I refer to buyers who may falsely accuse sellers of selling fakes when in fact the bags are genuine.) And I have no objection to your referring leaf1200 here!! She needs to know she's handling this wrong!

In this case, the seller leaf1200 is WRONG!! Whether or not she knew she was selling a fake or not is irrelevant; the seller is responsible for knowing the authenticity BEFORE listing her item(s) and if she doesn't know, she has to find out. Clearly, by selling such an obvious fake, she obviously didn't verify ahead of time.

Her partial refund offer (IMO) is BS. You paid a total of $51 for the 3 bags, including shipping so at the very least, she should refund 1/3 = $17. And that's the MINIMUM!! I think she should give you back at least 1/2 plus offer the most profuse and humble apology and tell you to just dispose of the fake. If she wants that bag back, she needs to send you a prepaid shipping label.

Since you want to return the whole lot, open a SNAD dispute and choose non-authenticity as the reason. Then if leaf1200 wants her bags back, she'll have to pay return shipping out of her own pocket PLUS refund your full payment.

If you plan to leave appropriate feedback, you might do so soon because if the listing is removed by ebay (for having a fake), you won't be able to leave feedback after the removal.

I can't recommend leaf1200. @Belicious, I'm sorry you got a seller who isn't doing the right thing.

Hello, everyone!
I recently bought this bag fro an online seller at a discounted price.
Everything seemed okay until I found out that the signature pattern looked misaligned when compared with the body.

Please have a look and let me know if it is authentic or not.
Thank you for your help!View attachment 3734234 View attachment 3734236 View attachment 3734237 View attachment 3734238 View attachment 3734242 View attachment 3734245
The bag looks fine.

Is the misalignment you're referring to that the pattern on the bottom isn't centered to match with the front and back? If so, that's not a problem. Bottom patterns aren't usually centered because it would result in a waste of materials if they had to worry about centering.

Thank you for your swift comments!
Your reply got me wondering... what about front and patterns not matching?
Looking sideways I just found that it isn't completely symmetrical.
Do you think this is acceptable to consider the bag authentic?

btw please excuse my legs being visible in the pics...cameringo_20170618_020944.jpg cameringo_20170618_021108.jpg

It's acceptable. The pattern is aligned on the sides although it doesn't match at the seams. That would be nearly impossible to do based on the size of the pattern and the measurements of the bag.

Yes, I consider the bag to be authentic.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I agree, if she's going to offer a partial refund it needs to be a third of the total including the shipping. She did tell me not to return the bag but instead to get rid of it so at least she's doing the right thing there. I did already open a case asking to return due to suspected inauthenticity. I think I will now refuse her partial offer and ask for a third or return.

good luck. Keep us updated.

(Have you referred her here so she can confirm that the bag is indeed fake?)
