Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I'm not sure about these two. Mine is at work, so I can't compare. I think Coach is in the wrong place and should have brown signature fabric. I don't think mine has quite the overhang either.

The same style probably was made over several years at least, and Coach could have changed details like that over the years. There's not enough evidence to say that any of them are wrong or right. It depends on when they were made. And without a serial number indicating when they were made there's no way to determine that. Don't worry about it. We always say that details should only be expected to match on items with the same style number made in the same plant, month and year, and sometimes that "rule" gets broken too.

As I'd said earlier, I don't see any problems with the authenticity of the bag. I don't know the style name or number.

It looks like they might be style 6925 but I have no idea what year it's from.

I figured that and wanted to get other opinions. Thank you! On a whim I decided to bid on it but the other bidder's max bid was higher than mine.I have a feeling that their max bid is close to the BIN price and I don't want to spend that much. Oh well :sad:

It looks fine.

BTW, I advise extreme caution when buying from sellers in the Philippines. There are very close fakes, some almost impossible to authenticate.

J8H- and J8Y- serial numbers are ALWAYS fake. We haven't found any exceptions. The whole creed and serial stamping is wrong too.

Thanks ladies! She has updated the listing without my photos after I mentioned (without saying they were my photos) that those two pics looked like from another listing seen on PM and if she was using "that seller's" photos? She updated the listing with her own photos after that email and then replied back that pic 1&3 were not someone else's photos. SMH.
