Found a sweet medium size suede backpack at goodwill boutique but i want to check its authentic before i get too attached and clean it. Seems to have 2 different colors of suede but that might be due to aging? 11H×11W×6D

It's a genuine Berkeley Convertible Backpack. The seeming difference in the suede color might be one reason why it has what looks like a Final Sale "FS" stamp in it.

Thanks! It definitely has a fault in there is a line that runs down the suede on the left side of the first picture. My first ever Berkeley bag! I will treasure her. Now I need to get over to the rehab thread to see how to fix her up. I'm so relieved it's genuine!

For the listing in question, there aren't enough of the right pictures necessary to authenticate the bag.

Please don't ever think a bag is too new to be faked. The counterfeiters will fake anything they think they can make a buck from and some of the fakes of newer styles are extremely "good." Some are often difficult if not impossible to authenticate so clear pictures are absolutely imperative.

See post number one for the pictures that are required for the newer bags with creeds sans serial numbers.

Does anyone know if the Ace satchels have been faked? I just love this bag.

I don't see any problems.

Other opinions are welcome.
