Made in Korea?
Seller: quirkyeccentric

All you have to know is that Coach NEVER made bags, purses, wallets or briefcases in Korea. That's all you need to put in your report, and that Made in Korea stamp is all the proof you need to see.

And BTW, that oversize Coach stamp on the outside in post 22958 is exactly the same one used in fake Korean-made wallets. It's about twice the size of the standard Coach cartouche and is usually a red flag.

Coach DID make a very small line of clothing items there but we've also seen fake Korean-made "Coach" clothing.

Seller will not post picture of creed because it's too light. Any thoughts on this one without the creed?

She was able to read the serial number well enough to post it in the description so she should be able to get a picture. Suggest that she use either eye shadow or powder to try to enhance it.

ETA: Did you notice where the seam and trim have separated?

I recommended baby powder, corn starch or flour and got no response. Yes, I saw that it is badly damaged all around.

Hmm. I don't know how strongly you feel but personally, I'd probably avoid tlo77 just based on the lack of responsiveness.

When a seller (with a no-return policy, BTW) isn't responsive BEFORE the sale, how responsive do you expect her to be after the sale in the event of an issue. Granted, ebay tends to lean lopsidedly in favor of buyers so if you needed to return it, you'd probably be okay. But you'd think she'd do what she has to do to sell a damaged bag, no?

But I know that in my own experience as a seller, I will make any and all attempts at complying with reasonable requests from buyers. And a picture of a creed is certainly reasonable, considering that fakes can have "legit" serial numbers too so her posting the serial number without a picture proves NOTHING!!

Perhaps if you refer tlo77 here with links to posts explaining why you're making the request, she might see things differently. Her unwillingness to appreciate a buyer who does her due diligence BEFORE a purchase tells me a lot about her and it's not good.

JMHO.

The pictures you posted are useless as I can't enlarge them. I think the bag looks fine. The seller is new to ebay and only has two feedbacks, one of which was negative, so she has a 50% rating. The negative came from some books she sold that the buyer thought were in worse condition than described. You can tell from the photos in the listing that the books weren't in perfect condition. I wouldn't be too concerned about her feedback.

Thanks alot whateve for your quick response and time. She sent me those pictures instead of posting it into her ad. I tried to give you additional info of the Creed. Thanks again for your great help!!

P.S. Do you know the name of the bag?

You're welcome. If she sent you the pictures in an ebay message, you have to copy them to your computer before you post them in order to get them in a viewable size. It looks like a Devon bag.

She just emailed these three in a message on eBay, but did not add them to the auction.

I don't see any photos. Did you copy them to your computer, like Whateve just suggested to another poster?

That bag is pretty beat up. The current price may be nice but there are 6 days of bidding left and by then the high bid may be a LOT more than that bag is worth. That looks like a lot of rehab, that poor thing's been rode hard and put away wet. JMO, but I'm a lazy old hag (bag hag?) who doesn't enjoy major rehabs. My sanity is shaky enough as it is. :graucho:
