It's authentic. It's a slim satchel compact #9425. The slim satchel standard or large is taller. It was made in the late 70s up to around 1983. It looks like burgundy!

Woo hoo! Thanks, Whateve :smile1: It's definitely burgundy, and I'm thinking it should rehab nicely and be good practice. I FINALLY found a bag that's definitely older than me, lol! (Not sure if that's a good thing or not..)

A couple days ago I got this bag authenticated, but the only picture I had at the time was not good enough to tell what it was. I got the bag today and took better pictures.

It is a small bag, not detachable strap, no seams at the bottom. Pre 94 may be?

Remember on pre-1994 bags we need measurements to identify. It looks like it is probably a Minetta zip #4123 from the Lightweights collection from around 1993. Is it about 7 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches?

The best thing about VeRO (aka DMCA) is that a VeRO listing removal for infringement carries a much more serious ding to the thief's account than a takedown resulting from a report of image or text theft. (In one case, the thief was naru'ed when she stole my pictures a second time. There may have been other violations but I'm not told about them.) With a VeRO takedown, you are told when they remove the listing.

A couple of days ago we were talking about Plagiarism & VERO..I happened upon this bag,which states, Rehabbed & Clean..&Conditioned
I asked the seller what she used to "REHAB" since she/ he states that the inside flap is dirty & needs to be cleaned...
Then I realize seller copied MY measurements & info on a BT mini belt bag I sold..
Listing reads British Tan Beauty..it is BOTTLE GREEN!!
So..Its a dirty Green mini Belt bag..Not a rehabbed Clean BT Belt Bag..
Just in case you were looking at it..or were interested Ladies..
and yeah, I wrote seller.. told them NOT TO STEAL my words & measure bags for themselves..
So if buyers are expecting a REHABBED BAG. they will be surprised....
I HATE THAT!!! I hope they get NEG FB because its not as described!!
And It desn't make a difference to me if they copy 5 words or 100..it still p*sses me off

It looks like they changed the listing. I hope they feel bad for what they did. The person who stole my words told me I should be flattered and never changed their listing.

Thanks Whateve! They are sorrythey got caufght! and what if the people that have put in bids already expect a rehabbed bag? I told them I was doing a VERO Report but waited to see what happened..I was actually considering buying that bag..HA HA and HA! But, it isn't the first time it has happened,this is the 4th I've come cross a listing with my words..It feels like such a violation, I would rather they stole pics(they probably do that too) but..ya know,MY WORDS? That really makes me CRAZY!!

If it makes you feel better, your text thief, seller nerflot1 sold a fake that can be reported. (I do report completed listings when I find them in the hopes that the buyer might question authenticity and request a refund when the listing is pulled.)
