Just so you know, NONE of us "work" here. We get no compensation, no perks, and often, little gratitude, particularly when posters are given information that isn't what they want to hear.

We volunteer our knowledge and expertise for no other reason than wanting to help buyers from purchasing fakes and sellers from selling fakes.

It can often be a thankless job but we continue to return because if we don't, people will be scammed.
And you are awesome at it! Thank you and the other authenticators for being our watchdogs!

Nonetheless, I have seen it at times be real work for y'all!!!!
Thank you all much.
For me, it has made shopping for bags a real pleasure knowing I am not getting ripped off!!!

I really appreciate what you guys do. Thank you!

What's the story with this guy? Can you help authenticate this "Bean Bag"? Also, is this color British Tan?

Item: Coach Bucket
Item Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Brown...620670?hash=item44044842be:g:PcIAAOSwfVpYuKx6
Item Number: 292129620670
Seller: superfetch76

This bean bag creed is on an authentic bag.

And to correct a few of the seller's mistakes -
The Bean Bag creeds AFAIK were ONLY in bags made around the end of 1990. None of the explanations I've seen or posted EVER mention the 1980s. In fact the Helen's Legacy style didn't even come out until 1994 so none of the details she posted as facts make sense together. The bag is actually a 9085 Duffle Sac from 1990.

Maybe it's better to limit each post to one bag, it's a lot less confusing and you have an hour to edit and add more photos or info. And we still need measurements for vintage bags with all-numeric serial numbers, or at least include a ruler in the photos right under the base of the bag to show the length.

The rounded one is a Saddle Bag 9851 from around 1990.

Have you ever seen a shopping bag like this?
3/PCS-COACH DUST COVER-SHOPPING BAG & BOX BROWN WITH GOLD RIBBON
seller: maebboutique15
# 162530233211
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-PCS-COACH...233211?hash=item25d78e8b7b:g:sY4AAOSwWWxY-~LX
I believe the bag is fake. I am unsure but unfamiliar with that type of box. (The logo does look odd to me.) The dust bag may be okay and the generic (not made by Coach) ribbon may have come from a Coach purchase but proves nothing.

I am hoping to bid on an eBay bag which has an NT prefix. It is not on the fakes list. Could you please tell me what this prefix signifies. I have never seen it before and hope I am asking this on the right thread.

ANY bag with NT (or TN) as the prefix is fake.

Please post the listing so we can verify and report if necessary.

Hello Hyacinth,
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll post again as requested when the items are received.
