It also has an invalid month code "N", the L plant code, its font, and in fact the entire prefix is wrong if it's pretending to be from late 1996, and so is the font used in the Coach logo above the creed. The stamping is also very sloppy and barely readable
The only photo I can find in my files that matches the fonts is one for a fake with a J5L- prefix and a creed that's a perfect match for this one. All the other L plant code serials AND creed stamps are very different from your fake. Here's a picture of the fake creed and serial that matches yours.

You're correct. It's fake.

Although the seller has a return policy, it would require you to pay return shipping. When a seller sells a fake, you shouldn't be out a cent. Contact the seller, tell her that the bag is fake and if she wants it back, she should send you a prepaid shipping label. If she refuses, open a SNAD dispute.

Thanks to you both. I will email her right away this morning and hopefully she will make this easy.

Wow! That seller that removed the fake Nomad off of Poshmark is now selling it on EBay, but with even more pictures showing that it was obviously fake. I can't figure out how to report her.

Item: COACH Nomad Crossbody Glovetanned Leather Black

Listing number:

Seller: eataleafvegan

LOL! That's ironic. Usually when fakes are listed on ebay and either called out or removed, the seller lists them on a site that turns its back on the sale of fakes. eataleafvegan has done the opposite but I'm guessing ebay will remove the listing before the seller has a chance to rip off a buyer.

Now that she KNOWS it's fake and is selling it, she can't be considered to be honest.
The bag at Goodwill is authentic.

So the seller says it's not a fake and she's such an experienced seller she doesn't need authenticators (because she knows more than you do I guess). Charming. But at least she has agreed to the refund.

;Dangit I think I just got a fake Winnie from ebay. It's now in my hands and it has a puffy crappy looking stamp, grooves in the back of the turnlock female piece. I didn't look close enough at the listing I guess..
Here is the link to the listing and here is my photos of all the giveaway details I didn't notice were missing:

Is flawforless sending you a prepaid label so you won't be out any money in order to send back a bag that she can't resell anyway? Hope so!

I agree completely. I think she was duped when she bought the bag and is trying to sell it off to recoup her money. When her listing gets removed from eBay, she's just gonna find another site to list it again. Then, eventually someone who can't tell the difference will buy it. This is making me increasingly frustrated.

It has been removed from ebay. Let us know if you find it listed again somewhere.

She says she will, but if she doesn't wthin a day or so I'll be opening a case with ebay.
ETA she asked me to request a refund from ebay so I'm doing that. But she also asked me not to accuse her of selling fakes without proof (I guess she means in feedback). Nice

Hi Ladies, Help again.
Yep I bought this because I could not resist the size of it for the price. Hope I didn't get took.
Can't figure out what part is calfskin, but doesn't seem half bad. Except spaces on creed don't seem right for newer bag.
(I really need to quit doing this, but can't seem to help myself)
Thank you!!!

Ask for the refund but be sure to make it so she pays shipping you're made whole.

As for feedback, if the listing is still up, you certainly can leave honest and accurate feedback. And there IS proof that the bag is fake. You posted your concerns and Hyacinth confirmed and gave more specifics!

It's an authentic gallery tote, MFF in 2006.

Good thing I don't work here!!!
Just so you know, NONE of us "work" here. We get no compensation, no perks, and often, little gratitude, particularly when posters are given information that isn't what they want to hear.

We volunteer our knowledge and expertise for no other reason than wanting to help buyers from purchasing fakes and sellers from selling fakes.

It can often be a thankless job but we continue to return because if we don't, people will be scammed.
