Comments: Is "G4H" a legit prefix? The underscore of the "o" in "No"? And I recall the "H" and the "-" in legit H-plant items had uniquely definable characteristics that I'm not observing here.

Confirmed fake. That is not a legit prefix. The H plant wasn't active in 1994, plus everything else you mentioned. I'm seeing silver grommets. The zipper pull isn't sewn all the way around. The pocket is too wide.

I'm not expert on jewelry either, but I'm seeing what I call amoebas in the C patterns. The Cs are missing the part that sticks up (when you are writing it, it would be at the place you start.) So instead of looking like 2 Cs facing each other, they join to make a blob-like peanut shape. Sorry I can't explain it better.

I would feel comfortable reporting it.

Hello to all! I've always love Coach black bags with silver hardware. I took a chance and bought this bag from a friend. The measurements are 13 in x 5.5 in x 9 in. After cleaning this bag inside out, I cannot find its serial number. I think those little lines that stick up are called serifs. :)

I think there should be a white tag, probably deep inside the zipper pocket with numbers on it.

Also, please post a picture of both sides of the made in tag.
