Well now I am wondering about. a charm bracelet that I have on which some of the charms have markings on reverse and some don't. Any thoughts on this?

I think that is fake too. It has nothing to do with whether there is something on the reverse. However, did you notice that all the charms that have logos on the front have something on the backs? Coach wouldn't feel it was necessary to put the name on the back if it was already on the front. All those charms came from different collections. The perfume bottle charm should look like there is a hangtag hanging around the neck of the bottle. The charms have the same problem as your keychain with uneven enameling. The black heart bumps up in the middle. Some of the letters on the round charm are almost covered by colored enamel.

ETA: see the perfume bottle in this fob? That is what yours is trying to copy. See how smooth these charms look?
While the bumpy enameling is usually a giveaway, the counterfeiters have a lot of trouble getting signature pattern correct and that's sometimes easier to catch than the uneven enameling.
You're welcome. I wish you hadn't removed your pictures. They help all of us learn how to spot fakes.

What do you think of these two bags? Are they the same style but made in different years?

Thank you for your expertise.

Hi authenticators,

I think I've found a fake bag:

Item: COACH Nomad Crossbody Glovetanned leather black
Seller: eataleafvegan
Link:
https://www.poshmark.com/listings/590b98442fd0b7d45400edb3
Item number: n/a

It doesn't look at all like any other the Coach nomad crossbody bags I've seen. Plus the lining seems all wrong. Thanks a bunch!
Actually, I'm not optimistic that the listing will be removed. Poshmark is one of the worst sites (IMO) for removing fakes. Generally, I won't authenticate PM listings because I don't want to encourage business there and won't add to their bottom line.

Thank you! I think I'm getting better at spotting them. Thanks also for commenting on it. I really hope no one spends $250 on this bag.

Thank you for your expertise.

The seller's description of the first one is wrong. It's an early 1990s remake of the 1970s-1980s Saddle Pouch. AFAIK it's not a Bonnie Cashin design and that actual bag definitely wasn't made while she was associated with Coach. It may not even have been made in NYC, Coach had started opening up more plants outside of NYC and even outside the continental US starting in 1988. I don't have any catalogs showing the exact year it was made but Coach did a lot of remaking previously discontinued styles during the 1990s. It was actually made between 1990 and 1993.

The second Saddle Pouch is from sometime between the early 1980s and 1987. I'm not going to even try to guess the color because it looks very faded on the outside and the color will probably deepen after a bath and conditioning.

Both are genuine. Since the measurements are almost the same they're probably the same style., the Saddle Pouches came in 3 different sizes.

Hello! Wondering about this gray city (?) bag. The listing doesn't have creed photos. I requested them from seller and have attached them below.

Thanks!!

Genuine, from the late 1980s. The color is probably Flannel Grey.
Not a city bag. It's a convertible clutch.
