Thank you, Hyacinth. I can't wait to see her true colour after a rehab. I do love spectators!

My City Bag Spectator is from the same time period, and it's a light-ish red with a touch of Vermillion so it should have just a hint of orange. It's a great color especially with the caramel-color trim.

1- FAKE. K3H- is never a valid serial number prefix.
2- genuine
Use caution if doing business with tedybear1989. As shown by the 2 listings you asked about, the seller doesn't verify authenticity of her items and as a result, she mixes authentic and fakes.

Yummy! I'll have to look for a twin. The City Bags are probably my favourite shape and size because they are big enough for all my usual stuff without it disappearing into the void of a taller bag. Do you know what the basic City Bag colours were? I have a red, black, off white, and spectators in off white, green and black. I covet more!

Here is another bag I need authentication on. In my possession from the GW.

Thank you.

Approximate dimensions .... 10L x 10H x 4.25D with an 11" double strap drop

There are quite a few colors depending on when they were made. The earliest ones were made in the late 80s and came in 10 colors. You might be able to find navy, burgundy, gray, and many shades of brown. The original city bag spectator came in a bunch of colors, and there was a later city bag spectator #9667 that came in camel, navy and burgundy, all with white trim.

I am the only one who feeling like I need to move based on the fact the Goodwill stores near me have absolutely nothing like what I see get authenticated? Really? A brown Plaza bag and Pocket bag??
Okay, grumbling over. Sincere congrats to all purchasers!
No you're not! I'm always amazed (and jealous) when I see those great finds.
Nothing like that at the Goodwill and other thrift stores here in Western NY.
But I'll keep looking!

Thank you, whateve, for the information and the catalogue photo. Would it be excessive to want them all, I wonder.
