  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

For those constantly clever, laugh-a-minute Korean counterfeiters, it's ALWAYS April First.

And a request for anyone reading this - never NEVER buy any Coach product from seller " obrienhtm " because anyone so completely clueless as to think Coach could POSSIBLY have made that creed stamp has absolutely NO business selling Coach products.

1- It could be a 9785 Zipper Tote from the mid-1980s but it's hard to say for sure without measurements.
2- Taft Bag, and the year of production 2002 is right in the serial number
3- genuine Sonoma Sling Natural Grain

The serial font is completely wrong for the D plant.

And yes, the FAKE Weston at Etsy is exactly the same fake that she had listed on Ebay in October - same exact serial number font, and the same missing leather pieces at the end of the dowel. She's also using the same photos.

PROVINTAGEGEAR at Etsy is the same careless fakes seller as THATWHOLESHEBANG at Ebay. Fake Coaches have been listed and/or sold under both IDs

I operate PROVINTAGEGEAR at Etsy and I DO NOT OPERATE THAT WHOLESHEBANG AT EBAY. I do not knowingly sell fake Coaches. I take time to authenticate and in the event it is pointed out that my efforts at authentication were incorrect I ALWAYS PULL THE LISTING. IN THE EVENT A CUSTOMER PROVIDES INFORMATION ESTABLISHING THE BAG IS NOT AUTHENTIC I ALWAYS FULLY REFUND PURCHASE PRICE AND SHIPPING. GREG

I don't understand why you would come back and bump a four-month old post! Your listings weren't discussed recently and on December 16, you in the following posts that you'd removed the fake that was posted.

Purseforum is a reputable site that is used by many Coach collectors. False allegations about sellers, even if mistaken, can be very harmful. While I had seen the threads identifying the bag as counterfeit and I had notified those reading the thread that we removed our listing I had not seen this false allegation claiming our shop "PROVINTAGEGEAR at Etsy is the same careless fakes seller as THATWHOLESHEBANG at Ebay" and that fake Coaches had been listed and/sold under both IDS." I want anyone reviewing the thread to understand this we are not the same, we do not knowingly list fake Coaches and we immediately rectify any issues over fake Coaches mistakenly listed by refunding the full purchase price and shipping cost. Greg

VERY FAKE. I hope you didn't buy it, or that at least you can get a full refund.

The serial number is a known "Always fake" number and has been found in dozens of fakes. Check serial numbers in the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list at Ebay before you buy any Coach purse.

also the hardware is wrong, the strap is wrong, and there's a misspelling in the creed that's been found in hundreds of fakes and ONLY in fakes.

Do you own this, or is it being offered for sale? If it is, we need the listing information and URL, as required by the rules in post number 1 of this thread.

You need to start authenticating BEFORE you buy, not after.
