Without a full photo of the creed and any serial number it's really hard to even figure out a date for it. It's PROBABLY an early version of the Station Bag, but the seller couldn't even be bothered to give measurements. They often had the creed stamps on the front pocket. This would be the Shoulder Pouch Small from around 1983 IF it's genuine. And it would be small, only 6x8 inches.

From a 1983 catalog:

Thank you! I'll update when I get it.

I don't think the bag is authentic but would appreciate confirmation. I don't think the serial font is correct for the month/year/plant. The creed text is puffy, the text placement is off and the serial font isn't the same as the comps. (See comparison pics below.)

Was this bag even made as late as 2002?

Hello,
You all have been great help to me in my last two purchases.
Could anyone give my any info about this bag? Is it authentic and does it look polished with something?
Thankyou for any response.

It's definitely fake, the dash between the serial number halves is too short, the "1" in the serial should have a horizontal line as its base, and the "o" in "No" is wrong. I don't know when that style was discontinued but doubt very much if it made it to 2002.

It's genuine, but I can't tell if anything's been used to treat it, you need to ask the seller. And the seller is measuring the bag wrong, Coach's measurements are 7 1/2 x 6 1/4 x 2 3/4. It's a VERY small bag. You don't measure bags by including the height of the top handle.

I don't trust the seller's statement "I went into Coach directly they said it's worth about 200.00". Coach doesn't authenticate or at least employees aren't supposed to, and they sure don't give estimates on values. (If any of our well-meaning members who have mentioned working for Coach or being on their Chat Staff are quoting values, STOP IT. Send them to Ebay and tell them to compare prices, but DON'T BE QUOTING VALUES ON SOMETHING WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW THE CONDITION OR EVEN IF IT'S AUTHENTIC.)

A used purse is only worth WHAT SOMEONE IS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. The last Madison Gracies that actually SOLD on Ebay went for $46, $39.99, $66, $95, $49.99, $27.65, $40, $80, and a red one for $150. Not a $200 sale in sight.

ETA - the Royalton is genuine.

I'm sorry but I'm not comfortable authenticating listings on ebay.ph, especially from sellers with multiple items of highly faked. brands. The fakes we've seen coming out of the Philippines are dangerously close fakes and although I know citizens like to support sellers in their own country, I personally don't recommend buying from your own country.

Hi, I'm also against buying sellers even if they're my fellow countrymen, especially if they sell fake. I saw it randomly and just wanted to confirm whether it's real, it's used and the seller is selling it for really cheap. It's around $20 or less. What caught my attention was how the creed looks real, so I thought of authenticating it to confirm my doubts.

Nevertheless, there are some reputable sellers here in my country who sells only authentic bags (which mostly they get from the outlet in the US).

The problem with the bags I've seen are so close that the time involved in authenticating them is way more time than I can spend when it's next to impossible (often) to really know whether it's genuine or not. As a volunteer, I just don't have the time. As you pointed out, the creed "looks so real" but that's the case with a lot of the fakes we've seen being sold in the Philippines.

Good morning! Several reasons for concern here:
- spelling (scrtches);
- totally different bag is listed with the same creed number; as far as I know, M4N by itself is a big red flag.
- numbers don't look like the typical ones on a vintage Coach creed.

Thank you!
I ignore anyone stating value or rarity. I'm not buying because of perceived value, have bought enough antique furniture not to worry about that. Coach just makes lovely straightforward durable bags (they do scratch up though). Thanks for pointing out it may be so small it's useless to me. Pretty, though.
Have NO idea how you came up with list of selling prices, you are tops! Good info to consider.
