Thank you and be safe!

Since you know from first-hand experience that Poshmark and its authentication team don't know diddly about Coach, perhaps letting the seller know that she sold a fake might help. Have you tried contacting misjamaica - Carolyn's closet? Perhaps if you direct her here, there's a chance she may be honest and will issue a full refund. (If she's smart, she won't waste her money paying shipping for you to return it since reselling is illegal, particularly now that she knows it's fake.)
I haven't. But I will leave a comment asking for refund and see what happens.

Hi, is this authentic? I've also seen it with creed tags: H0693-10399 and G06X-10399 on other auctions.
By the way, can you also check out this one? Ebay item #142220034631, link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Handb...034631?hash=item211cf98247:g:CyEAAOSwZQRYWucT
Much thanks.

They both look genuine.

The prefix (first half) of Coach's serial numbers used between 1994 and 2014 include a set of various production codes that are based on the month, year and plant where the bag was made, so 2 examples of the same identical style can have different serial number prefixes. The details of creeds and serial numbers are explained in several of the Salearea Coach Guides posted at Ebay:

Thanks for the fast response. It was the made in USA comment that had me puzzled on the 2nd bag as I've seen made in China with the same bag with the same serial number.

Hello. I'm new to PurseForum but I've always read it and found a lot of great advice on here. I have finally decided to join and I need some help. I recently bought a Loui Vuitton scarf on eBay and I have doubts about its authenticity. Could someone please advise me? First of all it has a white plastic tag that just says made in France -polyester. Not the brown tag that Louis Vuitton scarfs usually have. And does Louis Vuitton even make scarfs out of polyester?

Thank you so much! I look forward to any help I can get. [emoji4]

It also isn't vintage. It surprises me how many people don't read the creeds.
Not only is it not made in the USA as described by itzdabiz but it's not "limited edition" as described by lyn1975

Welcome to TPF.

This is the Coach subforum. You want to post your question on the Louis Vuitton section. For authenticity questions, this is their "authenticate this" link. Be sure to read the first post of the thread for their required format. If the question doesn't include what they ask for, they might not answer you.

It doesn't matter WHERE the SELLER says it was made. All that matters is where the CREED says it's made and that one says China.

Don't ever depend on every Ebay (or Etsy or Poshmark or any other website) seller, or even the majority of them, to know the names, numbers, ages, production dates, or places of manufacture of the Coaches they sell. And NEVER expect the majority to know if a bag is actually and technically vintage, and especially whether or not it was made or designed by Bonnie Cashin during her time designing for Coach, because many sellers are completely clueless about those details and some just plain LIE. Just because a seller says something's vintage or Cashin or Limited or made in the US or even genuine, that doesn't make it so.

No Coach bag that would have included a stamped creed and/or serial number can ever be authenticated without a clear photo of those details. And we don't recommend that anyone buy any bag where the seller doesn't show those photos.

In fact, none of the seller's photos are showing any useful details, and nothing at all about the condition of the bag. I can't even verify that it actually has the nickel hardware she claims it does. If a seller can't be bothered to take clear useful photos, find someone who can.

Thanks for the photos. It's genuine. I'm not seeing nickel hardware though, like the seller claimed it had.

I don't need one from this bag, but you also might want to make a mental note that wnen a bag to be authenticated has one of those magnetic snap sets like this one does, a clear readable photo of the "male" half of the snap and what's stamped on it using the Macro setting can also be a big help. The maker's mark and patent numbers can be important.
